You're obviously a huge fan of his, and that's cool. Since you're so close to him, can you tell us why he hasn't coached but one season since 2008? I just don't know any other profession where a guy can be mediocre, stay out of the field for close to 10 consecutive years, and then be considered for a big job.

I can’t. Just like I can’t name any other professions that have the demands that being a high school Head football coach call for for such chite pay. I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not; but this isn’t exactly some position (hshfc) where people are flocking, too anymore.

Go talk to some administrators on their now struggles on just how hard it’s becoming to fill teaching positions, let alone those who are qualified and want to devote the time and stress that come with coaching.

Why don’t you do us all a favor and tell who in fact applied and should have gotten this job? There seems to be either A) beef with him getting it over somebody(s) else and/or B) you just think this is a much better job that 99.9% of all coaches in the state.
