You forgot to give credit to Bill Musick when you said this....it also happens to be one of the dumbest statements you could ever make. Johnson Central will always be a good "mountain" football team and nothing more until they develop at least a halfway decent passing game. The belly offense is good against teams that lack the strength/athleticism to stop it but when you meet up with a team that is capable of plugging up the gaps, no matter how well Central can block they're going to run into trouble. It is also a poor way of preparing kids for the next level. JC always has great teams but how many of the players actually do well in college? I would love to see the focus directed more on preparing young athletes for the next level vs. seeing how many rushing yards you can obtain in one season.
