The khsaa ruled that LC players left the dugout in the pike central assult case, which they did by rule that's a violation, no lc players where suspended, lc has not had a varsity baseball player suspended since feltner has been head coach. Khsaa also ruled that pc players left the dugout and their position on the field, that is a violation by rule, pc also had a player suspended, and later arrested for his action. The lc player involved went on to win mvp in the regional tournament.

The bottom line LC came to the 15th region in 2006 I beleave, since then they have dominated the district they play in and been the most successful team in the regional tournament. Has that upset the traditional 15th region powers, yes it has. The move to the 60th did not go over well with the 3 other schools in that district. Up till then belfry and pike central were just about guaranteed a spot in regional tournament, in baseball and basketball, those days are over and some people are just having a problem with that.

LC dominates the 15th, come on what have they won anything, I don't know anything about the baseball team but as long as Pikeville and Johnson Central are around no way they can win the region in that sport, in football you have to contend with Belfry enough said, in basketball this is their only and best chance to win something in this region if they don't then this years LC team will go down as one of the best in the 15th to not win it, but if they do win then what about next year the main core of their team will be gone and they won't be as good, so if people in Lawrence Co think they will have a Johnson Central or Shelby Valley type dynasty they will be wrong, LC will be a 1 hit wonder a flash in the pan, but they have to win the region to even be noticed, so hope the pressure doesn't get to them cause they know that the target is on them this year...
