Ranking teams will not get any easier than it was in Week Zero. Beginning next week, conscientious voters will need to start comparing scores of more than 60 teams and look for common opponents among potential top 10 teams. The people who don't have the time to do a good job with the rankings should step aside sooner rather than later.

In my opinion common opponents and previous games is what makes it easier. I don't know that I've ever heard anyone say it gets tougher as the season moves along. Teams start separating them selves around the 3rd and 4th week away from the rest if the field. Preseason and week one rankings have IMO always been a lot tougher to gauge. Other than the glitch from John Hardin I haven't heard any major negative opinions and looking at the rest of the field I do not see how an argument can't be made for any other team in all classes for where they currently stand.
