In fairness to those who voted John Hardin at #1, there was a thread started here on BGR that had the score backwards and stayed up for a long time Saturday night before it was moved.
I agree its absurd to rank John Hardin in 1st, but I assure you those who did were confused by that, although there is no excuse for not checking the KHSAA website to be sure. I expect some major changes this week.
Given a little time, I expect everyone to set in nicely. A lot of these members who are voting have never done anything like this and make it takes some adjusting.

Ranking teams will not get any easier than it was in Week Zero. Beginning next week, conscientious voters will need to start comparing scores of more than 60 teams and look for common opponents among potential top 10 teams. The people who don't have the time to do a good job with the rankings should step aside sooner rather than later.
