If all the independents in single A start consolidating with other schools, the class will become very difficult to set up districts in, logistically. if Pikeville consolidates with the Corbin/Laurel schools, that takes then away from Single A. If the South Floyd, Allen Central consolidation were to happen that would take them out. there has been talk over the years of Fairview schools being absorbed by the Boyd County district (part of the reason they built the new BCHS with so much space). That would only leave a handful of teams left to make up what is now the eastern side of single A. i think they should push the East/West line a little further west. never made sense to me that for idk how many years, Beechwood, NCC, Bellevue, and Dayton were all in the east. its all messed up. we need a 5 class system. i think it would make more sense logistically as well as competitively. but what do i really know lol
