Went toe-to-toe with the upper level management this morning and learned I am being counted upon to bring "synergy" to the team.

Which is code for I don't want to communicate well so I'm counting on you to do it for me, our director, and the immediate supervisor .

And yes the "team" has been providing sound advice and insight on improving processes for weeks which have fallen on deaf ears. Always a hoot when the uppers seek "validation & substantiation!"
