Bell and Clay lost because neither could hit a shot the second half. Both shot 32 percent. Corbin shot a lot of free throws because Bell had to foul when they fell behind in the fourth quarter.
I had Bell and Whitley picked as No. 1 and No. 2 all year, but if you can't hit shots it doesn't matter if you have an advantage in talent.
