Three of the top teams are from your region- Fort Thomas, CovCath, and Johnson Central. However, there are clearly no others. I feel sure tomcatfan72000 wasn't including Ashland in his list of "top teams". Boyle County, LexCath, and Collins are not weaklings. All three would likely lose to Fort Thomas. But they would have a decent shot at the other two from your region.

Other than this year I would've put Ashland up against any team outside of the top 3 Ashland had as much of claim to 4 or 5 as any of those other teams. Remember last year a injured and decimated Ashland team hung with the mighty bluebirds for a half. Without out top 2 running backs and with out top receiver playing tailback and our 2nd wide receiver just coming back and not 100 percent. If not for those injures that resulted in the belfry game I believe the birds would've been in for 4 quarters if competitive football. But most schools outside of NKY and Louisville cannot deal with that significant amount of injuries and still compete. Point is lets say for arguments sake that lex Cath and Boyle were better. That still makes Ashland number 6 and 4 of the top 6 in one region. And I believe Ashland belongs at 4 minus the couple of years from lex Cath
