When Harlan County has play a decent team they have been beat and beat convincingly, so where does the tougher schedule come in to play.

A team that cannot learn from losing a few games is poorly coached. Tom Larkey is one of the top coaches in the Mountains and he knew what he was doing when he scheduled Belfry, Johnson Central, and Greene County, TN. The only VERY good teams that Madison Southern and Pulaski can point to on their schedules is each other. We will have to see the results of a few more games to see if there were any outstanding teams on either of their regular season schedules. My prediction, as a a fairly neutral observer, is that Coach Larkey's experience will result in another regional championship for Harlan County.
