Lady Colonels are looking good Whitley County coach Donnie Jones seems to have his Lady Colonels on a roll this summer. Whitley County picked up a big win Thursday against one of the top teams entering the 2013-14 season — the Bell County Lady Bobcats. The Lady Bobcats entered Thursday’s match-up with Whitley County with a 14-0 record after picking up wins over Harlan County (50-29), South Laurel (39-20), Barbourville (54-34) and the Lady Colonels on June 4, 55-34. But Whitley County returned the favor Thursday by handing Bell County its first loss of the summer, winning, 65-51.
