Shelby Valley has a couple of big kids too, but they don't get them the ball enough, when you shoot from outside the 3 point line you aren't going to get fouled as often as when you take the ball inside. Boyd does a good job of getting the ball inside to their bigs, that is where the foul difference is, SV has no reason to complain about the difference in free throws, just take a look at where your shots are taken.
