The Bureau of Labor Statistics qualified the new 7.8% rate saying it included part time jobs and argricultural jobs and therefore is somewhat of an abberation. The rate will likely be back up to the 'new normal' by Nov 2nd. Obama knows this fact all too well but, is none the less willing to go out campaigning today as if these part time jobs will do anything for families, announcing in triumphant fashion that the unemployment rate is now the lowest since he took office. There were only 114,000 real jobs to be had on this report which is essentially treading water.
