Do the subs really learn anything by trapping or pressing an outmatched team when they are up 40-50 points. They can still play hard and learn without rubbing the other teams nose in it.

Just because you can beat a team by 100 doesn't mean you should.

If you haven't noticed, all the rankings systems out there take into account winning margin and points allowed. I know that the KHSAA system of drawing teams for Sweet 16 does not use a seeding system, which I like. But, most coaches still like to be ranked as high as possible and that means you need to win often and win big. We might as well make the rule that if you are up by more than 30 you can only play with 3 players so it might be fair. Where will the rules end? How far will it go?
