Every week I will try to put out my top 10 teams for the 8th region. Feel free to post yours as well.
1. Anderson County (4-1) Wins: Lafayette 64-35, Oldham County 67-35, Lincoln County 43-37, Tates Creek 64-31 Losses: Lexington Catholic 51-60
2. Owen County (4-0) Wins: Williamstown 72-18, Walton-Verona 45-42, Carroll County 55-10, Eminence 76-36
3. Walton-Verona (4-2) Wins: Paul Laurence Dunbar 77-74, South Oldham 48-45, Williamstown 78-39, Simon Kenton 63-53 Losses: Boone County 44-50, Owen County 42-45
4. South Oldham (3-1) Wins: Christian Academy-Louisville 58-36, Floyd Central, IN 61-45, Highlands 57-53 Losses: Walton-Verona 45-48
5. Simon Kenton (2-1) Wins: Grant County 64-40, Scott 69-25 Losses: Walton-Verona 53-63
6. Collins (4-1) Wins: Henry County 50-29, Shelby County 51-18, Spencer County 47-27, Central Hardin 66-46 Losses: George Rogers Clark 40-57
7. Gallatin County (4-0) Wins: Trimble County 73-47, North Oldham 60-43, Spencer County 74-26, Henry County 76-27
8. Oldham County (3-2) Wins: Iroquois 77-31, Western Hills 67-34, Whitefield Academy 65-18 Losses: Anderson County 35-67, North Bullitt 48-50
9. Grant County (3-2) Wins: Bellevue 60-13, Trimble County 55-47, Silver Grove 73-43 Losses: Simon Kenton 40-64, Beechwood 39-47
10. Trimble County (2-2) Wins: Carroll County 53-29, Williamstown 74-46 Losses: Gallatin County 47-73, Grant County 47-55
I think that any of the 4 teams at the top could beat each other on any given night, but in my opinion Anderson County is the best team as of right now.
