- Letcher County Central (21-16): Defending Regional Champions. Lose 2 players from last year's team but return very good players and could make another run a the Region.

- Powell County (26-9) - Powell lost several Pitchers but return a lot of key players from last year's team. The Pirates should be in the District Championship Game again in 2012.

- Estill County (13-18): Engineers lost a lot of good players from last year's team but also return a good group of young talent. They should be fine in 2012.

- Wolfe County (19-17): Wolves lost 4 players from last year's team but return Star Dylan Creech. Wolves could upset some teams in the Regional Tournament.

- Knott County Central (24-7): Patriots just missed a game tying home run in the 2011 Regional Championship game. Patriots lost 6 players from last year's team. Patriots could be up there with LCC and make a run for the Regional Crown. Patriots have a new head coach in Danny Rice.

- Hazard (22-13): Bulldogs lost 4 players from last year's team. Bulldogs always have a good team.

- Lee County (14-16): Bobcats return everyone from last year's team. They could possibly get in to the Regional Tournament.

- Leslie County (13-12): Eagles lost 5 players from last year's team. They always seem to have a pretty good team.

- Perry County Central (10-20): Commodores lost 4 players from last year's team but they also always have a good team.

- Breathitt County (5-17): Bobcats lost 4 players from last year's team but I see them retaining the 55th District Title and being in the Regional Tournament.

NOTE: although it's not on KHSAA yet ESTILL COUNTY will be playing @ Buckhorn on April 23rd @ 6:00 pm. The ENGINEERS will also (More than likely) be playing West Carter as well as Morgan County on March 17th, those games will be played @ Menifee County. Not sure yet what the name of the Tournament/Invitational Menifee County is hosting on March 16th & 17th
