And you call me ignorant??? You are still not grasping the concept that it is not a right for anyone to serve in the military. It is SELECTIVE . If it were not you would have the blind, the physically handicapped, and the deaf out on the front lines. Even though they allow the mentally handicapped on this website (not mentioning names) it doesn't mean they have the right to have a gun stuck in their hands and be put out on the front lines.

It is a right, as of now though, that if you are in the military and are gay, you can be open with it. As it should be. Turning the topic around to whether it is a right to be in the military or not doesn't fly. Nobody is debating that point.
