Good coaches take what they have to work with and find a way to win. Those with less coaching ability find a way to blame the kids or some other aspect of the program (parents, community, administration, facilities, schedule, you name it.) It is time for SL to put some people in place who know how to manipulate what they've got in order to get some wins and be respectable again.

@ HG Bullfrogs: The system remark on my last post was not in praise of the system. It was a reflection of what others were saying. In fact, the whole post was.

@ former: Yes, I believe if a coach can't win consistently, he should find a new profession. I am not talking about winning a state title. I am talking about posting a winning record a majority of the time. And yes, the coaches are to blame @ Jackson County. All the extremist comments on here just show a lack of knowledge on the subject.
