If the system sucked it would'nt be making the money it is across the nation. However that is a different topic, I don't coach at South but I and most of my family used to play there and we still follow closely as my kids will be Cards in the near future. You need to live in london or atleast follow the program to have a clue what is going on, otherwise you are just going by message boards and khsaa. Who are you hearing is coming to SL, if they are really good I hope it's true.

You can agree or disagree with keeping Welch but the guy is not a good coach at all.
Any coach could run the offense he does. When they lost irwin a few years back they lost everything. Had irwin had those teams he had running the offense he did in todays district and not against faster lex schools in the playoffs, he could have went a long way. Since then, chappell and welch have destroyed that program. I watched them play Corbin and Whitley this year and those teams are way ahead of South and South is a larger school than both, corbin by far and Whitley by a couple hundred. You cant tell me there arent more athletes in that school that could play if a coach would do some in school recruiting. Vaughn simplay wouldnt of had the numbers he did if welch didnt run a qb draw every single play.
The Ad should have thought about his situation more.
