:Thumbs: I agree. It's almost like they go to church so it can be put on their resume for a higher standing in society. I'm the only member of my family who not only doesn't go to church (haven't been in over 20 yrs) but isn't a member of a church. My best friend died suddenly with no warning Sunday. He had the same views as me. I think he will be fine. RIP

First allow me to say how sorry that I am for your loss. Also allow me to say that the only church membership and/or attendance that will get you to heaven is the Church-triumphant. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and never step into a church-building, you will have the same fate as the thief on the cross by Jesus, (Luke 23:43) "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
