I would rather my players play a real sport like baseball. Getting in the cage and hitting the weights work well together. Wrestling is a panzy sport. Haha, wrestling is a great sport. I wish they would of had it back in the day. I could of stayed at 205 then instead of 225.

Yeah a real sport, stand around and pick your nose for 3 hours in the field while you get a sun burn, have to love it.
What are you at now? Mr. 225?

Hasn't been any talk on whether Coach Roark has made an appearance to Perry County today? Anyone know anything or seen him in town?

how does M-Boro compare to Perry Cent. in facilities?

Well, if he does not take the job. I have sent my bio and overview of how I'd run a program to Mr. Neace and let him know I am offically interested in the job. As I have said before, God has a plan. I just did not want to pass up the opportunity. Here is a simple code to go by.
Commodore Code:
1. Commodore's are disciplined people committed to excellence.
2. Commodore's are positive people.
3. Commodore's treat training sessions as personal proving grounds.
4. Commodore's are persistent.
5. Commodore's live a balanced life.
6. Commodore's serve others.
7. Commodore's are CHAMPIONS

I'm just puzzled as to how people see one a coach mentioned on here to be a good hire for PCC. Very puzzling. Good luck is all I can say.
And to you Mountain Warrior. From what I know of you which is limited I respected until you made the foolish remark about Bell stealing mboro's players. That is an absolute lie. Maybe if that job opens up you can get it. Make sure you put Bell back on the schedule so the rivalry can be renewed. If you beat them enough then maybe they won't steal many more players from there. Very poor and untrue comment you made.

Please look back, the comment was made by someone else, not me. I probably should not even post on here, but there are some good points. However, I would never make a comment like that. You play with the hand your dealt, regardless, no excuses. Winning takes hard work regardless of where your players come from. So, please review this thread because that remark did not come from me.

easyM, this is why I hesitate to post and I think an apology is deserved here. Thank you.

As for posting on here, I see no problem in you doing that. I'll let you in on who I am later on in a personal message. I'm glad to know it wasn't a comment made by you. Good luck in the future. I'm sure you'll have an opportunity very soon to coach in this area.

Don't know what you have but one thing for sure he will find away to have you everthing you need for football. The people who is all about football will love him. How do you win state and be in the same county as Bell? Roark will love Perry Co. Perry CO. would be a fool not to hire him. As for you MT Warrior you talk way to much about thing's you do not know. If M-boro were to give you a look pm me and I will put in a good word for you.

Folks, I am not sure what I did or said to get the harsh comments. If Coach Roark left Middlesboro, I think that would be a great job just like PCC is in my opinion and I would love to take it, with the young men they have now. Best thing for me is to stop posting because I'm not sure where this is coming from. God bless each of you.

Someone twisted the story on you. I have apologized for what I said. That's all I can do.
Mboro would be very interested in you. From all that's happened over there they need a breath of fresh air. They need things put back in order to become a successful program once again. Good luck in the future. Things will open for you here. It's just a matter of time. Once again, sorry for the post.

No problem EasyM, I understand. I just did not know what the other person was talking about in me saying things I know nothing about. I try to be humble but I am not ashamed of what I believe in or my philosophy. Again, I appreciate you setting things straight for me. Maybe someone just does not like me, would not be the first. I agree, I would love to go to Middlesboro. Thanks again and God bless you and yours.

Not true. The KHSAA actually makes it impossible for a kid to lose that kind of weight now. The most weight a kid can lose is 1/2 pound or 1 pound a week depending on there body fat assessment.
01-29-2010, 12:33 AM
That is good of the KHSAA because weight loss should be monitored strictly.

He has a great background in the game and don't know if he has any asperations of ever being a coach, but this would be a good opportunity for him to throw his name in the hat if he did. At least he would stay for a while and not come for a couple years to move on to something else like others in the past at Perry.
That would be interested but from I heard Al is still at EKU working on his masters and coaching down there as a graudate assiant.

I agree, to many coaches just want to concentrate on one team to make it a stepping stool for them. Not fair to the young men that work so hard. I am not talking about the current coach because I don't know the situation. PCC is a great place and a great job, I am interested in seeing how Coach Roark came out. If he did not like it, who knows I may have a chance to come back home to my roots either there or KCC.

I think that he had some of football players who went to wrestling come back in the off season alot smaller than they where when the season ending. He always wanted his players in the weightroom. I had notice last night that one of Perry's starting LB had lost alot of weight because he was wrestling. I think that they should be in wrestling becasue of everything it teaches you and you can carry over to football. But I notice that alot once they get in the sport always want to keep moving down to a weight class!!!!!
01-29-2010, 11:45 AM
Hes lost about 10 pounds from his football weight, but that's just from hard work. No dieting or cutting. Im willing to bet hes actually stronger after wrestling. His assessment from the KHSAA actually says he could go as low as 171 because of his body fat. He will drop a bit of the fat from his body and build it into muscle now.
01-29-2010, 12:01 PM
I hope so. He had a great year for us this year. I would like to see them in wrestling along with been able to lift weights.
01-29-2010, 12:08 PM
Any updates on a future coach for the program?????
01-29-2010, 12:09 PM
He could if he wanted to. The wrestling room has a decent weight room as well. Not to mention he has a class everyday at school that's dedicated to weightlifting. BTW hes family, im not a stalker.
Back to coaching instead of players....any new word?

I dont think you are stalker, I just knew you knew who I was talking about.
I hope they make a choice soon on the coach. I would hate to lose some of the young talent that Perry has.

I believe Mountain Warrior would be a good choice for any school. He believes in teaching discipline and ways of life and has had a great resume.
