I only remember Nick missing two or three shots all night. In fact, he kept penetrating against Cox or the other guards all during the first half and drawing fouls and making his free throws. KCC went to a zone after half-time and stopped Nick's penetration...which sunk Breathitt.

Ritchie did most of Breathitt's shooting. Taulbee was basically a non-factor, especially against the zone. And BTW, KCC's zone defense wasn't too shabby. They held Breathitt to just 69 points, which is way below what most were predicting. If KCC had a big post player they would be dangerous.

For Breathitt to beat KCC they have to be able to shoot against the zone. One on one Nick can get to the basket no matter which KCC player guards him.

For Breathitt Co. to beat any GOOD team, they have to learn to play defense. They are giving up an average of 79 points per game. You will not beat good teams giving up 79 points per game.

I agree with you but do you think they can shore up their defense in a few days? I suppose a defensive specialist and 2 hours a day would see some improvement pretty quickly. I was just talking about maybe beating KCC next time, nothing about championships.

KCC is a good team. Breathitt Co. will not beat them until they start playing defense.

KCC plays defense and holds Breathitt Co. to 69 points when BC been averaging 84 points a game.

I am no relation of the Noble family but I am simply tired of you constantly putting Coach Noble and Nick Noble down. I think Nick is a very good high school point guard and If you can't see that then you don't understand the game of basketball. If you hate Coach Noble and the way he coaches then don't attend the games and don't support the bobcats.

It's one thing to put down a coach but when you get on here and put down 17 and 18 year old kids that is inappropriate. If you can't right anything positve about a player don't write anything at all.
