As for Fullen, I believe he wanted to concentrate on soccer. Cooper is likely still hurt from football season. I don't know about Christie.
From the roster you posted, the following 9 guys logged significant minutes last year. I would expect them all to contribute this year. Every one of them are solid players:
#4 Brandon Boyd 6'2 195 11th
#5 Scotty Ross 5'9 180 12th
#12 Nathan Taylor 6'0 165 12th
#15 Kyle Skaggs 6'1 150 9th
#20 Casey Stapleton 6'0 155 12th
#24 Tanner Alexander 6'0 140 12th
#25 Grant Mckenzie 5'11 160 11th
#31 Kirby Whittaker 6'3 175 12th
#40 Justin Davidson 6'4 220 10th
If they can get some more quality minutes from the following list of guys, then I would expect an exciting, up-tempo game pretty much all of the time. I don't even recognize a couple of these names so maybe there are some new players???
#10 Corey Leach 6'2 165 11th
#11 Jacob Porter 5'10 135 9th
#22 Tyler Parsley 5'11 140 10th
#32 Michael Pennington 5'11 175 10th
#33 Luke Bailey 6'2 180 10th
#35 Austin Hunt 6'0 170 9th
#42 Logan Dehoff 6'2 190 10th
#44 Lucas Stuart 5'11 185 10th
#54 Zachary Bailey 6'5 240 11th
In any case, I look for Russell to be very good this year and the "surprise" team in the region. I'm looking forward to the opening game tomorrow night.

They've got a lot of guys who can handle the ball, play pressure defense, and hit the 3's. The only weakness is the inside game. Davidson was getting better at the end of last year and should only be better this year, but the depth underneath is the only question mark. I know Whittaker can help out and Taylor has the intensity to fight for rebounds, but can Dehoff and/or Luke Bailey help as well??? If they can, then that would be a big help.

Brandon Boyd is one of Russell's best shooters and is coming off the bench is what kidwell said in the preview.

I agree. He's a terrific 3 point shooter. He led the team to the win over Ashland last year with his 3 point shooting. I would be looking for more opportunities and consistency from him this year.

Kidwell did say in the preview he expects Luke bailey and logan dehoff to take some pressure of Davidson in the post.

I think william fullen is a senior this year so soccer wouldn't have affected basketball unless he plans on playing at college somewhere.

Fullen left the team late last season. He concentrated on soccer and track. Cooper and Christie did not come out for the team this season. But yes Cooper has a shoulder injury from football.
