Bell County has not had impressive games yet when you look at the scores between Bell and Harlan County. Bell's only loss was a out-of-state team that won the state over there a number of years. Once again I'm not taking anything from Bell County. This will be a good game I believe but I'm still for Harlan County.
:please: Not sure what points you are trying to make? So you are saying Bell has no impressive wins? Marion, Whitley, Rock, Knox and Johnson Central are not impressive win?
BTW Perry Central is not that good We (Knox) handled them easily in a scrimage earlier this year.

His only point is, he's dying for Bell to lose. He's picked against them several times this year.

Over half of the yards we allowed were by the jv. Stats don't tell the whole story.

That includes the Alcoa game they are not listed as the indvidual game if you will look and see they are thru 8 games they haven't put in last weeks yet.

You all are still ranked number 1 in class 2a according to some Tennessee polls that I looked at. Regardless of what class their in, I have a friend who lives 20 minutes from there, and they talked about them all the time. I know the info I gave on them was correct, there 9-0 this year and have won the state title the last 5 years in a row, and I was also correct about their record over the past 5 years, only lost 6 games. I just called my friend, they did move up this year to Class 3A District 4.

I don't understand you point to this. I mean you cannot go by who beat who, this game is played this coming Friday, it doesn't matter how they played a few weeks ago. I mean Perry Central just got rocked by Whitley, and North Laurel was beaten by every team in the district except clay, so wins over these two teams mean nothing for HCC. Bell County would kill both PCC and North Laurel, and HCC barely beat them both, but that don't mean anything. Teams have bad nights plain and simple, you don't know who's going to win till the final horn goes off. However, we know which team is better and which team should win. In this game, Bell is the better team and they should win big.

The team stats are through 8 games also. I think that the individual Alcoa game is the only thing that isn't reported. All of the team stats are through 8 games not including McCreary. They usually put those up by Wed is what I have been seeing.

I know we are talking about apples and oranges here but how can the team stats of the Alcoa game be reported if they are not there? I'm not savy as to how they are uploaded to the KHSAA website, but it would be reasonable to think that if they had been reported that they would be listed. I'm just making a reasonable guess that when you upload a game's stats they are totaled. Some teams, I have noticed, do not report any stats and they do not have a "Latest stats report". I assume that they can only list what has been given to them.

You can do game stats and cumalative stats. You don't have to report game stats if you don't want.

Your friend was correct Chunk. In Tennessee's history, Alcoa is the only team to have won 5 straight state championships this includes the mighty Maryville Rebels). We are hoping to make it 6; our team is pretty impressive this year. Good luck to all this Friday night.

Well heck-fire! Somebody get on the phone and tell Coach that the Bears need not even suit up this Friday 'cause according to MOST, not all, of the bell county fans, we don't have a snowball's chance in Hades of even scoring on the bobcats and the almighty (I mean Dudley), let alone winning.
NOT!!!!! - Every team CAN be beaten; uhhh, that's why they actually play the games. The HC Bears don't give up; I don't care who it is - even the Bell County Bobcats. So this Friday when the clouds roll back and the sky opens up and the angels start singing (can you hear it - Ahhhahhhhahhh) and the bobcats step onto the field, they better be ready because we are.

If I can remember correctly before the district championship game my senior year back on November 10th of 2006, one of our coaches recorded a interview from Dudley Hilton talking on a mountain sports radio station, and there was a quote that he stated that Bell County taught Rockcastle County how to play football, well come to gametime busting out the dressroom, I believe we (Rockcastle) got them walking out of there 13-0 so I guess that motivated us to be the better team not only on the scoreboard but stats as well, But Bell County taught us how to do that...right.....lol.:flame:irateSho:1: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

This is sure to make good rival between the teams and fans!!:argue::Thumbs:

Dudley also said rockcastle isn't a team that will avoid you. he said these other teams that we whipped Runs away from us. But Rockcastle Sure didn't they got tired of getting there heads beat in, so they work harder in the weight room and returned the beatings on us! he also went to praise what a good job coach larkey has done up there!

remember bell fans, your powerhouse football team wont last forever, and all these teams that you have beat by 60 50 points, will be a powerhouse when your not, returning the favor this time by 70

come on guys we are not enemies here. Yes bell has a great team and i think hc has a great team. It does'nt matter who you beat in the past or stats and all that. Which ever team comes out to play and can put the most points on the board will win. If we (HC) wins then great and if bell wins great i'll be routing for both teams to go all the way to state bell in 4a and hc in 5a. I do hope we win though as muchl as bell co wants to win.

I believe both teams will be ready to play! The Black Bears for a district title and Bragging rights. bell for bragging rights, no way they want to lose the first game in this new rivalry and to Coach Larkey! Go Bears!!!
