Those Paintsville fans that are predicting a 3 or more TD victory will have a rude awakening. Same goes for the Pikeville fans predicting a romp for their Panthers.

I agree with blackcat...which ever panther squad showes up depends on how this game will turn out...if last weeks team shows up...trouble for the panthers...if the team that dominated p-burg, and corban showes up it will be a heck of a night for hish school football!

Paintsville but it should be a great game

I don't know who the Hazard fan was that said they didn't care, because they should. If Pikeville were to beat Paintsville, the tie breaker will go to points. And in that case, if Corbin wins and Fairview loses Pikeville and Paintsville will both have 18 points and have to go other opponents. Paintsville has more wins there for they have more points from wins and would be district champs. In the point system, Hazard doesn't have as many as Paintsville and Pikeville with their top 4 wins assuming they beat Phelps.
First 4 teams:
Paintsville-18
Pikeville-18
Hazard-16
They would have to go through the next team, which would be Allen Central and then to Jenkins both common opponents. So the tiebreaker would then come to Paintsville's other win over Betsy Layne, who won by forfeit to Cumberland which would give them the tiebreaker. Hazard and Pikeville's tiebreaker for 2nd would be decided by the first 4 teams and Pikeville would place 2nd. In this scenerio, Hazard would go on the road the first round of the playoffs to Lynn Camp. So my point of all this is Hazard should be hoping that Paintsville wins to prevent a tiebreaker, so they could get Harlan at home in the 1st round.

This ought to be a great game between two teams with a lot on the line.
Should be a very intense atmosphere.
I hope the officials on this one are top notch.

It should be a great game. Mother Nature is even going to cooperate. It'll be chilly, but it should be dry.

Here is something for everyone to think about:
In Pikeville's 6 wins they have given up 7 points. Pretty good, right??????
In Pikeville's 3 losses, they have given up a whopping 125 points:omg: :omg: :omg: :wtf1: :wtf1: :wtf1:
Does Pikeville give up after they start losing????? Just wondering. Anyone have any thoughts about that. Pikeville fans, can you give us some insight about what happens when Pikeville gets down a TD or 2???????

No, they don't give up. It's just that who they beat are horrible. Allen Central, South Floyd, Jenkins, Corbin, P-burg, Phelps. Couldn't put them together and make a good team. Think about it...when is the last time we beat a good team? Williamsburg last year? Maybe....but they were'nt that good.

Easy there big boy, no need in talking like this. Don't ever underestimate the Panthers especially on their homefield, homecoming and senior night. Best thing to do is zip the lip and play ball. We'll talk about what came through Hambley Complex around 11 tomorrow night.

I really think that Paintsville will pull out the win in this one.
Before you ask, I am basing my judgment on the Hazard game and the Belfry game.
Good Luck to both teams!
