qb's are kid from Letcher and kid from Johnson Central. A couple of rb,s are from P-burg and Belfry. About all I know right now

They had 22 today and a couple that weren't there today. Looks like a good group of skill players for the KY squad this year. As soon as I get a roster I will post it.

I asked a boy tonight who is playing in it an who has been practicing, an he said that they only have one belfry boy an one more whos suppose to come out tomorrow thats outta 15 who graduated an they have 0 pikeville players an they had like 6 or 7 who graduated. I asked him was Andrew Elkins there Qb he said no he wasnt there Sad

need him good player an charlie dotson is another who isnt there, Ivan is suppose to come out tomorrow but still hasnt, I hope he does. We could have a great team if we could get all the all star players to come out an play. He said they had 23 today.

They couldn't get many last year either..If they could of had a backfield of Dustin May, Adam Dials, and Shawn Grim I don't think it would of been close...But Grim was the only one who came out.

For Belfry Gary Hall. Ivan lee is suppose to play. Charlie Banks will be qb. The West Virginia team just like Kentucky pools players from different county's. WV doesn't get players from Huntington and Charleston. The biggest school they get players from is Logan and **** there enrollment is nothing like schools like Johnson Central. The Kentucky side never complained when they dominated the first part of the series. Now WV is on the hot streak. The games are usually close, physical and competitve.

Ivan is dating one of our bowl workers niece. He took his jersey to him last night and Ivan told him he wasn't playing so he brought the jersey back today. That was as of 3:00pm today. I hope he changes his mind and does decide to play.

This has Ivan Lee listed but he has yet to show for practice. So I'm not sure whether or not he is even playing. I guess we will find out Saturday night.

Yes..Yes it is a bad thing. Whyy? you ask...Because If Jesse is focusing his coaching on a KY All-Star team and he has his whole staff doing the same thing. Then how is that effecting the current Hornet Football team? I have confidence in his coaching but Its impossiable to coach 2 football teams at the same time.

Thats the West Virginia attitude. You just basically admitted one time they broke the rules. Rules are rules. When things like this are compromised, it destroys the integrity of the game.

Jessie is the only one from the hornets coaching an hes only been there at phelps one or two year, he is not at fault for how phelps plays they have a small team an not a very good team, theyve had coach after coach nothens gonna change this, but the kids, an they just dont have enough. He came from Johnson Central anyways, I know he played for them not sure if he was an assistant coach or not. But it doesnt matter it want be Jessies faught for them lossing to Wv it will be because they dont have all they need out there, still cant get over the fact of the seniors thats graduated an the ones thats not out there playing. And the numerous bad calls non of this is going to help the Ky side.

Call him up and give him heck!! LOL.... From my understanding, the high school IS still doing what is required of them and Jesse is scheduling KY practice around the KY team. The game is this weekend..... He still has 2 full weeks of practice with his high school boys and they are doin great!

OH... BTW, he's a big boy... there's enough of him to go around!! HAHA...

My son is playing for the ky team and he has nothing but great things to say about the coaching staff. He told me theu knew their stuff, were great motivators, and really work hard. He has been very impressed with Coach Peck and staff(and he has played for some great Coaches during his carreer. The team doesn't practice until late evening because Coach Peck practices his high school team and their practice has been his top priority.Good luck to the Ky team

Jesse peck is doing a great job and this isn't effecting anything phelps practiced all week 2 a days they started at 8 and stayed at the locker room and practiced hard all week and i guess you have never heard the the saying "Nothing is Impossible" so i am praying that he proves you wrong and good luck Jesse in the hatfield mcoy bowl and your up coming season with the hornets
