Prestonsburg starts off games trying to score with their guards, the guards couidn't get anything going so Pburg went inside with Patrick & Tincher and Phelps had no answer for the two, as they combined for 30+ points.

That SV team had some mental issues that this SV team doesn't have...

I think playing physical with Valley is the best approach, if you have the depth to withstand foul trouble...

I don't think P-burg can answer Valley in this one, I'll take SV by 20+.

That is true, and should serve as a cautionary tale to keep Valley's players from getting too overconfident. But I see no way that history repeats itself this year.
For one, that '04 SV team was going through a lot of inner turmoil, problems that torpedoed what was one of the more talented SV squads. This year's group has none of those issues.
The other reason is I believe this team is deeper and more talented than the '04 edition. Elisha Justice is probably the best player in the school's history, and the rest of the team ain't bad either. Just too much talent to lose this game.
If Hatfield plays, Valley by 30. If not, they win by at least 20.

Those are football classes, not basketball. Why is it so hard for people to understand how the All A works? And it seems like the people that don't know what their talking about always do the most talking...

ye and if you remember this was the only year the 15 region used their own 15 region REFs.Using Refs from the other regions and the team that won it all,"not P-burg" would not of had the wistles in their favor.

I think Valley will be to much for Prestonsburg. No one can contain Justice. I say Valley by at least 15.

That's completely irrelevant.
I realize that these Valley teams are completely different, but nevertheless, they underestimated Prestonsburg, which I'm hoping the same thing happens.

Don't get me started...

I've tried to explain this to people on here numerous times, but no sooner do you explain it one day, the next day a couple more say the same thing.
It would be nice if people understood that this is BASKETBALL, not FOOTBALL. The state classifications for that sport do not apply here. The khsaa does not officially recognize any class system for basketball.

It may not be as ugly as you think. Then again it might be.:p
I predict that Valley will be ready for this one. They remember what happened in 2004.

I think Shelby Valley will win by 19, and play the second and third string the last four minutes of the game.

tried that route and post got deleted....... anyhow the all A was borught up to give the smaller schools a chance at playing in a state tournament and you can't very well do that with bigger schools in it

i believe junior sensation johnathan berger is gonna deliver an epic performance and well be way too much for prestonsburg to handle. Berger is an unknown postin mastermind from the mountains who is yet to be discovered. once he is unleashed the possibilities are endless
