You're kidding right? HHS and KCC would be a good game. KCC can definitely beat LCC and PCC, and if they (PCC or LCC) were to win somehow, it would be considered an upset.

LOL, PCC and LCC both are capable of beating KCC.No way that would be an upset.

If they are the underdog in the situation and they win, it is considered an upset.

KCC and Lee Co must first prove they belong. I believe they will, but it must be done on the floor first.
Like the 08-09 rankings on here, last year takes precedence. Pre-season rankings mean nothing in March.

I don't see where you place anymore stock in PCC and LCC than you do KCC and Hazard. You can't totally base this years rakings on what happened last year. Lee, Knott, and Perry all picked up transfers that give them a different look this year. By giving last years season end ratings a "precedence" as a standard to rank this years 14th region, then by using the same analogy, the Kansas Jayhawks would have been rated number 1 in the college polls going into the 2008-09 season. It doesn't work quite that way. Every season is different.

As usual it's always a wide open race, favorites can fall and underdogs can surprise, especially come tournament time!! WIll come down to who is peaking at the right time and who is injury free. I pray no one will have any injuries. Good luck everyone!!

LCC and PCC return most of their team from last year.
BGR rankings were based on last year, not mine.

Those would not be upsets in anyway. Letcher made it to the region semis and Perry were the region runner-ups last year. Both team pretty much got every one back as well. KCC is so over rated it is not even funny. I really cant wait till Banks and co. beat you in District so you all will shut up about how you have a will win region being carried by 2 players....FYI ,Knott winning region, it is not gonna happen!!!!

Hazard would still out rebound them and Perry might as well.

I dont think KCC is overated I think they are right were they need to be. Yes they didnt make region last year but played a very good Cordia team in the 1st round of district. Knott Co has a lot more weapons other than just Cox and Stamper. Ratliff,Amguery, Bartum, and Mullins are all good players that can step up and drop double digits any night. I think Hazard is the best team in the region followed by Knott and then PCC/LCC are eqaul. The 14th region will be fun to watch this year! Im glad its here!

PCC only lost one player in Kelly. Region runner up. So do you really think Lee Co and JBS are better than them, honestly?

Sounds to me like your a patriot hater. Stamper and Cox arent the only players they have, their an all around good ball team defensive and ofensive. LCC and PCC are both great teams and will be very tough for KCC to beat, but no one should over look the pats this year. They are going to shock some people this 08-09 season. You shouldnt already be predicting who is going to lose or win in the District, the season is barely started and you cant base anything on last years season, every season is a new one!

they have collins, hall, and stepp returning. All of them were key players on the regional title team two years ago, and they have experience against the top teams in the state, so i believe you have no idea about basketball if you don't say jbs in the conversation

I believe that jbs, will not be able to compete on the same level that they have been. they will be able to stay in the game(and it won't be some big blowout) against teams like hazard, and knott and perry. but i don't think that they will be the biggest threat. yes they do have those players returning, but think of the ones that left. If Hall could have gotten eligible at kcc he wouldn't be there either..

Watch for Knott county if Hazard isn't perfect I think Knott will be going to Rupp this year.

Banks from LCC and Noble from PCC will be tough players to guard
