Hazards defense must show up for the dawgs to get a win. They must keep on all recievers and get some pressure on Lucas Witt and make him make bad decisions. Also stopping hayden is another key to a win in this game. Yes he can have a few big plays but they have to be limited.Hazard must also remember you can't take the kid down arm tackling and hitting him high. If your going to tackle Hayden you will have to stop his legs or slow him down enough for gang tackling. But the major thing is getting the pressure on the quarterback and forcing him to throw bad passes. If this happen i think the bulldogs will come away with a 8 point victory.

I agree that Hazard can win, and I hope they do. I just think if the D plays extremely well that they hold LCA to 28 points or so. They will not shut them down. So, the O, led by Tyler Olinger needs to be consistent enough to not blow drives. They have to sustain and finish drives. They can not get a 25 yard gain and then punt. It will be total team. LCA will not have the big head, they want to get back Lousiville bad, they are hungry. Hazard needs to be hungrier.

Well Hazard will lose at home this week unless the game is stole from the Eagles. I thought Raceland was a much better team than Hazard this season after watching both teams play. Also, I think LCA just has the Dawgs number...I hope though that Hazard wins, but just don't see it happening.

I agree hazard has to be hungrier to win the game and i believe they will. You really do not know how bad the dawgs wanted this rematch. I can assure they are hungry and i just think that 3 straight road games will be the downfall for LCA in this game. They were dead in the water friday until the announcer opened his mouth and woke them up. It appears they folded early then that happened and they woke up and came ready to play. If hazard jumps on the scoreboard early and doesnt play conservative then they have the game.

From the score of the last game it is assummed that they are the better team. The team has finally got a few games under there belt with a healthy team and the changes that were made after that game will be the difference i think as hazard gets the win 35 to 24.

Yes they do. By how bad i talk about Tyler last week. If he go out and play like that again. I will talk bad about him again this week. I don't care as long as Hazard make it to STATE. Some poeple play better after someone talk bad about them. He look like one of them players that does. Or at less he did again Pikeville.

I am just a firm believer you always play better after being talked bad about. Its like tim couch he took so much Criticism it wasnt funny and you see where hes at.

I believe that last weeks game between LCA and Raceland was to go to Papa Johns. Both of them have to much for Hazard. Sadly for me that team was LCA. But they played better football in the 4th quarter and deserved the victory. I say LCA by 21 and roll on to a rematch of last years state championship with Beechwood.

alot of people is selling hazard short and i'm sorry hazard's team has been hungary for a trip to papa john's stadium for a couple of years now and they have took it a step farther each year since they played for a regional championship two years ago. state is the next step and this is going to be a battle for both teams. hazard is mentaly and physically ready for this game it is going to fall alot on the sholders of hazard's defence and right now they are working hard and just get better and better as the game goes on so don't count hazard out just yet. with that being said i'm going to say hazard wins in a close game. go bulldog football :1:

I have seen both teams play and I think if Hazard comes to play they can beat anyone in class "A" football. They are very athletic and have good size, on paper they are hard to beat. I think one thing that Hazard has to do this week is stand in with another very good football team and fight a 10 round fight. The first matchup with these 2 teams was very close in the first half, Hazard has to play 4 quarters. I think Hazard had a few good games to get some things ironed out, Olinger is throwing downfield much better than he did in the regular season and his Oline is getting it done up front. Can't wait to watch this one Friday night, I'll take Hazard 34-31.

I agree it does rest on the defenses shoulders but the offense can't turn the ball over like last year in the playoffs. If hazard plays a mistake free game then i believe they get the W and will travel to papa johns.

I also wanted to state i am kinda of glad people are selling hazard short because if they wasnt then that two headed word may come back. If you dont remember that word then here it is BIG HEAD. i think its better to be the underdog than the favorite because you always have a target on ur back.

Seems like a long trip from Lexington. It will be hard for the Eagles to come out and play hard in the beginning. Hopefully Hazard and get up early and stay up. If not it could be a long night. I wonder how Christian has changed their practice routine around due to snow?...Maybe practice at Nutter Field house or something ya know since they already have the customized UK charter bus.
