They will win more games if Cordle is breaking passing records. They will still be running the ball just fine. If they expect to get by Breathitt or Belfry, they will have no choice but to throw more. Not just in the last minute of the game, when they are down.

Look at the the last time Russell beat Belfry, 19-0. Good defense paid off. However, Kasey Clark, and mainly Marcus Frazier recieving is what put the points on the board. I would like to see our avg. yards per carry that game, I'm sure it was ugly.

been watching LCC conditioning they look very well in shape even thier freshman.I can not wait to see them put the pads on.As for seniors all i can say is look out.

The way passing leauge went for russell i dont think they will be throwing the ball, sorry.

I don't think passing league is a true testimony to the abilities of Russell's passing game this year. For one the defense knows the pass is coming. Also there is no worry to stop the run. Russell more than other teams in the area could devastate with their passing game. Teams are required to load the box to stop their run. Most games when I watched Russell last year. Teams would sometimes never have anyone deeper than 5 yeards off the ball. No team is gonna guard all their recieving weapons with noone deeper than 5 yds.
