Yes, Tate and Garrison have played AAU with the Valley boys for the past 5 or 6 years. They are both awesome young men and we at Valley feel like they and their parents are like family. Just knowing them and being able to spend time with them during AAU season has been a great honor. We truly love you guys and want you at Valley but if you choose to go elsewhere we will understand. We just want you guys to be happy! BUT PLEASE COME TO VALLEY!!!!!! It would be so wonderful to have you all here!!!!!!! Don't make any decisions until you pray, pray, pray and ask for God's guidance! We will be praying too!!!!! Best of Luck!!!!!

Tate cox will be an asset anywhere that he goes. I would like to see him go where their is no static and he could just play ball. Where would this be? Letcher Central comes to mind as do some other teams in the 14th and 15th. Hazard? Who's goona sit? Perry? Who's gonna sit? Knott? Who's gonna sit? Hazard, Perry and Knott would be a lot like the situation he has been in the last 2 years( if you get my drift).

I am telling you for a fact that Tate will be at Knott Central and probably before school lets out and he is excited to play for their new coach that they will be getting...

i don't think lcc would be a good fit for tate, it could result in the same situation. doesn't one of the player's dad help coach??

Who may that new coach be?

Can't really say who it will be as of right now, seeing their team is still in the regional tourney and wouldn't be fair to all that is involved. But there will be some major changes going on around April that everyone will hear about.

One of LCC's players dad does coach (Banks) but he is set to play football in college so that is no problem.

It is actually alot closer for him than JBS was.

If two or three players transfer from JBS I do not see how they can all go to the same school and any of them gain eligibility!

I think the new coach will be C.T. and the new atheletic director will be B.K., just my opinion.

I dont know where he will end up but i sure hope its at KCC... JBS is def. not going to take him anywhere as we all seen this year

JBS still has the Stepp coaches and the Stepp boy. No way anything will change for this team. The coaching staff is totally to blame for allowing the falling apart of JBS this year. Still find it hard to believe the BOT allow this unethical setup. Any other county school would have booted these jokers out years ago. Just wish the Cox and Collins boys saw this a year ago and left. No doubt Cox will leave , Collins is a senior so he may just stay. But JBS is done for the next decade, too bad, they had great potential. Media will shed light soon.

You will never have that kind of guard play to go along with such huge size. The BOT are not watching and I guess they just dont care. Alot of people have said Joe Stepp said he might just close the school down. If he did that every kid would be eligible and you would see the biggest recruiting bananza in the history of the 14th region......

You are so full of yourself and JBS. This team is in no way the most talented team in east ky for the past 25 years. I can think on several teams that were better. Oh yeah, one I just thought of is this years Hazard team. Don't flatter yourself, you're rediculous.

Did you ever stop to think that he may be a part of JBS' bb team or a parent and he may know what he is talking about. I agree that Hazard is a good team with alot of talent, but I don't think they are as good as JBS. And you can talk about how they are in the regionals and all that, JBS still has the most talented players. The coaching staff has to take the blame for some things, and I personally believe JBS would have won if not for the coaching. I have and always will be a KCC fan, but I will also choose a Knott County team over an out of county team. I think alot of JBS players got alot of crap thrown at them over the coaches decisions but it in the end you have to remember that these players are just kids and they are doing what the coaches tell them to do. I wish all the kids the best of luck, and I hope Hazard makes some noise at Rupp, I just wish it would have been one of Knott's teams.

Cox is an outstanding player and young man. If given a chance by any program, his talents and unselfishness would be an asset to any program. He would fit in fine because of his demeanor.

Like I have said before you had a team that all 5 starters will play college ball at some level. When is the last time that anyone has heard of that not only from a eky team but any team all in KY. There probably have been some but not many I bet. We are past the point of talking about what could have been with this seasons JBS team and it is time for everyone to move forward and support whoever goes out of the 14th because the 14th got the easiest draw that I have seen in a long time. I hope whoever and that includes Hazard(mr Survivor) does well if they go down there and I will be there to watch them. Unlike some on here I dont spend all of my time hating another team more than I do supporting my team. If Hazard does win MR Survivor I hope they do well and win all the game they can. And I think that I do reserve the right to think that this JBS team could have been special if under different conditions and I think alot of other people share that view. I am sure that you will enjoy the fact that JBS is done for all intents and purposes and if that makes you happy and I am sure it will you should think more of the kids that were affected by this and a little less about you own situation because the losers in this deal are the kids who have suffered when all they were trying to do was play a game the love on a level playing field. I can tell you that JBS is bascially gone but another close school will reap the benefits and will be a powerhouse in the near future....

I agree that Cox is a special kid on and off the floor and will have a great future at what ever he decides to do...He is like alot of other kids on the JBS team this year that probably learned alot of hard lesson about life like it is not always fair and alot of adveristy will come your way and it will make you a stronger and better person in the long run...

I have a feeling that there is going to be some big things in store for Knott Central in the near future......a near 'bright' future.

I think that if the things that have been mentioned happen then the new coach at KCC will not have a hidden agenda in the way as JBS did. All KCC would have to do is play team ball and they would have a very good opportunity to have a great season..
