I watched the game and there is no way that the video shows that.

Honest to god, I could care less about this topic, but BBOF has a point. The video clearly shows him with 19, none of the scores were replays, he didn't do the same move twice. Of course if BBOF is a mastermind at editing videos, then you've got an arguement. That, I highly doubt though. Unless everyone that watched this video can't count at all, he had 19. It also appeared obvious to me that he dominated in the paint.

Drop it guys Knott won and that is all that matters and it was only a scrimmage.

He only missed two shots from the field all night long, one was on a foul when he went for a dunk. I dare you to do this, I am assuming that you can get a copy of the tape that the two girls from KCC filmed right beside me. If you have access to the official scorers book then you should be able to borrow a game film. Show me two shots that Dev missed the whole game in which he wasnt fouled and shot free throws. Also, show us where Buttermilk had 10, the video and game I watched he only had 9. BTW, what is the official scorers name? I would also like to give him a call, or should I just wait until Monday and call and ask Johnny? I am sure he would know.

I don't know what all the whining is about. KCC won a game with a young team, and some of the call were questionable, especially when pville's big man went up for that missed dunk and they called a foul on KCC. These games are only to see what each school has to work with, and KCC only has 1 senior and he hasn't played since grade school. Buttermilk is also a player who hasn't played since grade school and I think he held his own against pville's big man. And KCC didn't get much from Amburgey, I don't know what was up with him, but he didn't play well, only a couple of minutes. Coach Amburgey kept jerking him in and out of the game, he couldn't get in the flow of the game, and besides the coach needed to see what his younger players could do. So all in all I think all the teams did well with what they had and when everone gets done with football, we will be watching some very good basketball.

The reason is, you are not supposed to post false info on here. That is against the rules of the site. Bobby1 said he kept stats and his was the same as the official scorers book. He was wrong, he posted a false statement. I am sorry but I think that video proof is better than a person with no proof at all. KCC won this game by 1 point. That is not in dispute.

I just talked to a KCC patriot parent that filmed the game and they said that he only had 10 points and 5 rebounds and 7 fouls. Now we have video proof of it also. So if anyone who is telling a lie it is you my friend. GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough has been said over what happen in the game and I have my opinion and you have yours. All I care about is that the Patriots won the game and really showed alot. I wish Pikeville all the best in the up and coming season, they will need it when they play VALLEY.
GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have said enough no more posting for me on this subject time to move on and celebrate a good win and bring on Cumberland.

I was very proud of how Steven Patrick performed for pburg.. he's come out of nowhere this year. He's became a lot more aggressive than he was last year

congrats knott, some of my people from shelby valley was telling me that honaker and harmon did not play. If so, and knott just won by 1 point.......... that means that pikeville will be tough this year because honaker and harmon are a big chunk of the teams scoring and defense.

Pikeville will get better when the football players return. However, i do not see them winning the region if they stick with a four guard line-up. Another question: Why bring Devan up high for the pick and roll? It often makes him have to dribble or settle for a jumper. Why not use your big man on the post where he can be much closer to the basket?

He's a junior this year, he'll be starting JV as center and getting a lot of minutes on the varsity team.

With players still out in football, that is about all Coach Williams has to work with, Pikeville is like a lot of teams in this region, overloaded with guards. Deven and Matt along with others that are playing now have the pick and roll working pretty good. One of the two are always open.

I am pretty sure Tim Honaker has a good chance to start at a forward for them!

Regardless of the number of guards, Pikeville needs to work the ball down low if its going to win the region. If Devin can score on the block then its going to open the outside for Clevinger and company. Just dont see the pick and roll as the best offensive weapon when you have the only true big man in the region. It seems that Pikeville is trying to fit the big man into a guard oriented offense instead of fitting the guards around the big man.

Pikeville needs towork it down low in the championship game last year Dev touched the ball 6 times in the whole game that hurts their chances and everyone knows how that game turned out.
pbrug how many players where out for football, Hall is a great player but need someone else to step up big, he will be doubled all season if he does not get some help.
AC i think hammonds is a great player but will need help against a press or it will be a long season for the rebels

Raider_Nation09 Wrote:South Floyd beat Piarist 89-42
I was impressed with South Floyd they played really hard but one thing the raiders need to work on is fouls they had a lot in the first quarter they had like 15 and thats not good because when they play a harder team and it could be a close game but with those kinda fouls it could turn into blow out and one other thing I didn't like was how Coach Hall played his players. There are a lot of good players that didn't get to play a whole lot and even some that did real good in a couple of mins and got took right back out so he might want to rethink who he is going to start or play.

I hear AC looked much better in todays scrimmage at Clay County.

Pikeville will be tough when they have all there players
P-Burg won against a decent team with like 7 or 8 players...they will be tough with the addition of their f-ball players.
AC-I don't see them being tough throughout the region, but I see them jockeying b/t 2nd and 3rd in the district.
SF-lost basically everything except Akers...another down yr. 4 the raiders

Agreed!! I've been saying this all along. It's the old Dave Thomas plays.
