Oops, my bad. You are correct. I meant to have Paducah Tilghman sitting at #6.

Corbin will only be AA next season. They may surprise, but they'll have a very tough road through the playoffs.

I see another year of Belfry-Russell for the right to go to state. This is starting to become an even better rivalry than when they were in the district together.

District-3-1- McLean County, Muhlenberg South, Paducah Tilghman, Union County, Webster County

I see PT coming out of this district next season with not alot of close games.

#46
District-3-2- Adair County, Butler County, Edmonson County, Hart County, Russellville

Butler, Edmonson, and Russellville have a chance in this district IMO.

District-3-3- Central, Elizabethtown, Moore, Shawnee

Central and E-town should be the favorites in this district.

I think Central, E-Town and Paducah Tilghman in the west and Russell, Belfry, and Mason County in the east.
#49
Russell and Mason will fight it out in district next year..
There can be only ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Breathitt could possibly do it, but I would take Belfry and Russell 9 times outta 10 against Breathitt, judging from how Breathitt/Belfry/Russell has performed as of recent years

Sc will be in the run of it next year to.

I would take Breathitt over Russell/Belfry any day of the week when Breathitt and those teams are even close to the same strength given the past results. I said that Breathitt can win, did not say they would win. These games would be hard fought and close IMO, I am not saying that I think that it would be a blowout.

Given the improvement that Breathitt made this year and the fact that they only lost 4 seniors, they will have the best team that they have had since 2002.

Who does Breathitt lose to graduation(positions)? I knew they had a young team, but I did not realize they were that young! Fleming should be their only competition in their district, but they will be young next year.

They lost one lineman that was really good, and I think the running back was a senior, but they have some young talant at the RB position, but the lineman that graduated will be hard to replace. Breathitt can win the title if they can develope the recievers, that is one thing that held them back this year IMO. The defense should be better, but it cannot be much worse than the last couple years. The QB is very good and should be a solid position for the next several years with the QB next year being a senior and Jade Haddix coming in behind him after that.

Somerset will be losing quite a bit but we will be also returning a lot to. Don't couth the Jumpers out. I would love to see a Somerset/ Belfry or a Somerset/Russell matchup.
#58
Russell will return 2889 yards of offense from this years team and will have a line that averages 6'4" and around 274 pounds from end to end.......Not bad for next year, QB may be different, feature back may be different and the younger wing backs have all played in at least 11-12 games this year..
Not to shabby

I know I don't know about all the teams but I think the east will produce the state champion next year. I think Russell, Belfry, & Breathitt will have to duke it out. :redboxer: I'll give the slight edge to Russell because of the size/speed/experience combination. It won't be easy though because Belfry and Breathitt and very talented as well. JMO. Go :devilflam

Well it will Be Russell who has the bullseye on there back again, back to back state chamionship games come out on top in 05' and should of came out on top in 06' but we will leave that one along,Russell is my team and i think that we play Belfry again.
