Holding a kid back two years, what are their parents thinking, their child can't compete with kids their own age? Yea a child has a right to pick were they want to go to school. But, some times they get a little push on their choice. They don't hold kids back 2 years for either one ,if they had to be held back for academics they would send them to you.

Cox and Stepp where held back two years and they didn't send them to me. So it has to be for sports. It's a shame that sports has come to this.

How about all the 8th grade boys that were sent back to the 7th grade for a week and then promoted back to the 8th grade from Carr Creek, just for a grade school title. You got no where to go with this.

I do believe it was TWO years for both and you know it. As far as Carr Creek who cares.

Benchwarmer Wrote:I do believe it was TWO years for both and you know it. As far as Carr Creek who cares. But you would love to have them on your team, now wouldn't you? It wouldn't matter then, how many years they had been held back. I think you might have held a few back at your place.

I wasn't held back. My parents and myself don't believe in that kind of thing. You go to school first to get an education and second would be to play sports. Now in their case I guess an education is a far second. Well if you go to JBS for academic reasons your in for a surprise. No I would not like to have them on my team we play team ball.

Well don't worry , You ain't gonna get em!!:moon:

Hey, it's within the rules of the game and it's not cheating by any stretch of the imagination so maybe other schools should stop the "crying"?

i dont think they will///

I have never said JBS cheats. So, why is it when someone says something about them JBS fans say it's not cheating? You guys are the ones that bring up the word cheating. You have something on your mind.

And if we were the only ones that did it, it would just mean we are smarter than you. On another thread YOU didn't even know who Collins is. How is it you know so much about everything else and don't know about our 6'8 guy? No body has been held back 2 years. One player was a year ahead of himself. I don't have to defend any thing to you. If your parents don't believe in hold backs that is their problem not ours.

JBS has a reall chance at the 14th, they have really good gaurd play with stepp and cox. but i think that hazard will be tough too. hicks is goin to be a force to stop in that region.

They were held back two years and I never said that was cheating. I just have a problem with parents that know their children can't compete with other children their own age. So, let's hold them back a couple of years. Then let's talk about how great a player they are for their grade.

No body has proved anything this year. So lets wait and see how things go. If a player is a starter, no matter what grade he is in, he will be playing against the best players the other teams have. Who knows how it will turn out. There are several teams that can win the 14th. If you don't like a certain team, who cares? It don't matter how much you knock 'em or how much you brag on 'em, it don't make 'em any better or any worse. It won't be long now.so we will see what all the teams have.

JBS will win the 14th this year because they have a couple of East Kentucky Lightnings players on there team. No other team in th 14th can match up with either of them. Throw in Stepp, they will win hands down. They are the second favorite team to win the WYMT right behind Shelby Valley. No other team can say that in the 14th.
11-05-2006, 05:11 PM
Shelby Valley want even win the 15th, likw JBS wan't win the 14th.

haha, you're the most jealous man on this site. You probably need to quit talking so you don't show your ignorance/immaturity too much. What's it matter how old they are? They did not break ANY rules! Get that through your head....is that going to be your excuse when your team loses to them? Probably.

Jealous, by no means am I. ignorant sometimes, Immature most of the time. There you go talking about breaking rules. I never said they did, get that through your head. As far as my team losing to them, who knows what will happen. We just practice every day and try to get better. thats what life is about do your best and you never know what will happen. You need to look at Owsley Co. last year. Heard a joke the other day. What does JBS stand for? Just Basketball School or was it Jims Basketball School.
