I'd heard Chapman's name a few weeks ago pretty heavy (on this thread and off of it) but it kind of fizzled out with the Sullivan saga

If I was any coach that applied I’d expect the same thing offered to me that Sullivan was offered.

I don’t think they’ve fumbled anything, I think we’ve all been guilty of assuming the worst and taking some of the stuff posted in here as truth when it hasn’t been. Like Hager turning the job down. Turns out that was not true. He was interviewed last week, but wasn’t offered the job.

Hopefully something gets announced soon so this thread can finally end lol.

 I would possibly consider thinking they had Ray or Sullivan lined up as fumbling, but maybe it is isn't. There will just be a new thread about expectations of the new coach that will go until the fall. Lol

The district stays the same with the addition of Leslie, but the 8th district just got a lot more difficult with the addition of Belfry. If you win the district, at least you would avoid Belfry in the first two rounds. Shelby Valley isn't going to be what Shelby Valley has been over the past three or four years. I look for them to drop off, but they will still be competitive. Prestonsburg needs to worry about beating Martin County before being concerned with Belfry or Shelby Valley. Hopefully they can get this hire right, if not, Blackcat football will be no more!
