The Covid year stuff really killed a lot of opportunities for kids overshadowed by the Covid kids.

 
Respectfully disagree, because everyone had the right to re-classify.  If parents weren’t smart enough to guide their children to do it; it’s as Les Zeppelin said-“Nobody’s Fault but Mine”!

Giving them the extra year due to Covid was a good way of allowing kids an opportunity that they otherwise would not of had. If a student loves their sport, then why not give back the year they missed because of crazy lockdowns?
Kids graduate high school too young anyway.
Sperry is older than most juniors but who cares and good for him. It gives kids like him an extra year to develop and everyone had the opportunity to do the same.

Sperry is playing by the KHSAA rules.  There is a ton of 19 year old to be Seniors in the state of KY.  Some of you be smoking some serious weed.  Always throw the age remark at him.  He can’t help he’s better than all the other 18/19 year olds in the region.  Never saw so much whiny ass babies in my life.  Get in the gym, hit the weights, train and maybe you can get a little bit closer to stopping Sperry.

CA Collins for breathitt in 2019 turned 19 just a few days after school started in August. Collins Bellamy Hoskins and Combs are all either already 20 or about to turn 20. How are you gonna sit and say a kids old when kids all over the state are doing the same thing. Oh that’s right you just hate breathitt so it’s bad when we have a star player that takes advantage of a rule. Noted.

Sperry is a great athlete for sure. If he could develop an outside shot he’d be superior. If I was guarding him I’d back off him and make him hit the outside shot. He’s a great slasher and can find the open shooter. He’s fun to watch
