I do t think Bell has played against a QB as good as Tucker this season. Let’s be honest Tucker is 1-1 against bell with his first win coming back when him and Christian Larkey played together without him not so good now he has him and two other weapons at WR it will be a great matchup you can’t contain all of our toys no one has yet. Whitley County is a lot better than some people realize. Daniel Thomas is also a lot  better than some people realize.

Lol I know the feeling back when Tom Larkey was coach at The Rock and I was in school still I always remember we normally was the better team and always favored heading into the games. It was always can Bell pull out the win and after Tom left so did our football program. When we started back playing Bell we have only beat them once but it was just a few years back in the covid season but yet they got us back in the playoffs. It’s time to turn that back around and win a few in a row. From 1999-2007 while Tom was still at Rock Rockcastle was 8 wins 6 loss against Bell with Rock eliminating Bell 4 times from the playoffs and Bell not eliminating Tom but 1 time and that was his final year at the Rock before going to Harlan in 2007. So in regular season things we’re closer and back and forth with Rock having 4 wins to 5 losses but when things mattered in the playoffs Tom and Rock was 4-1 against Bell.

This has the potential to be a shootout like this rivalry has never seen. I’m taking bell at home, and would take the rock on the road… But my prediction is 48-35 but i’m low balling that score. Has potential to have both teams in the high 40s and 50s if warren gets going but i think it will be a miracle for bell not to score on offense.

unless i’m reading the stats wrong it says that rock forced 5 turnovers against clay. And only had about 50 more yards of offense. Sounds like the turnovers made a much bigger difference in the score. I don’t think bell turns the ball over more than once maybe. And i also don’t think that they lose the line of scrimmage on both sides. I’m rolling with my gut saying that rock is forced to rely strictly on the passing game this week and that’s why they lose. No matter who’s at QB, in this rivalry it always comes down to the horses up front.

Dudley and Team will absolutely beat the brakes off Rockcastle. Won’t be much of a game at Log Mountain. You better plan to stop Thomas cause he’s gonna leave 300 plus yards in your rear view mirror. Rock D-Line cannot contain Bell Offensive Line. Bell got best Offensive line in 13th Region I’m hearing. When Tucker was NL he had great receivers to throw to so don’t pretend he didn’t.. Bell wins this one big 42-12..

Let’s back it up then NL vs Bell 8-20-2021
North Laurel wins 30-22. How was this achieved NL had 237 yards passing with 2 passing TD. In 2021 Tucker had Christian playing with him at NL with his dad coach in Chris Larkey. Same offense coordinator in Tucker dad. Christian had 10 catches for close to 100 yards and a TD. Christian also ran the ball for 45 yards. Tucker had 2 rushing TDs so those two players alone accounted for 3 scores.
Now fast forward to the next year Christian is gone and so is coach Larkey.
NL vs Bell 8-19-22 
Bell wins 43-35. 
Tucker passes for 129 yards and 2 TDs. No WR help as only 8 catches to get those yards. However he rushes for 102 yards his self and 3 more TDs. That’s all five scores in a single TD game loss at log mountain. 
Now before you say oh NL defense in the first meeting where they won they did force Bell to turn the ball over twice via fumbles but did not get much pressure on the qb as they only had 2 sacks all night and 2 tackle for loss. So take the fumbles away an the defense wasn’t nothing special. Now NL defense in last year meeting was even less relevant than when they won the year prior as they had zero forced turnovers against bell and only 1 sack. Yet they only loss by one score. 

Rock has a good chance at beating Bell this year they will just have to go out and play like they are capable. Rock has Tucker and Christian back together along with 2 more good WR and most of the coaching staff that has seen Bell alot. This will not be a blowout on Log Mountain by Bell. Should be a heck of a game that could go either way plus it’s a rivalry so throw records out the window even tho Bell is 6-0 and Rock is 5-1.

Bell County hasn't played a  schedule full of middle school teams.
