I think Rock has the skill players to play with Bell ,but this one will be won in the trenches….Bell 35 Rock 14

Bell doesn’t have the defense right now to stop the Rock offense on the ground and in the air. But the rock defense won’t be able to stop the ground attack. This has the potential to be a shootout like this rivalry has never seen. I’m taking bell at home, and would take the rock on the road… But my prediction is 48-35 but i’m low balling that score. Has potential to have both teams in the high 40s and 50s if warren gets going but i think it will be a miracle for bell not to score on offense.

First to 50 win Bell D is awful rock player pretty weak schedule this going be barn burner

Everyone who has predicted less than 50’ for both teams is probably not familiar with either team. This game Friday night will be the best game in the mountains and maybe the best Friday night period.
Rock offense will score on this bell defense and if rock can find a turnover or two they will prove to be just what I’ve said all year but like I’ve said all year this is bell district until someone proves otherwise and I think Tucker is the missing link to prove it. Give me rock in a shoot out on log mountain..

Bell County will destroy The Rockets. Daniel Thomas will run wild.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I'll bet $20 Thomas gets more than 300 yards rushing.

Thomas, will have it turned on against Rock. They haven't seen a running back like
him he will do whatever it takes to win this game, his yardage will be high!

I do t think Bell has played against a QB as good as Tucker this season. Let’s be honest Tucker is 1-1 against bell with his first win coming back when him and Christian Larkey played together without him not so good now he has him and two other weapons at WR it will be a great matchup you can’t contain all of our toys no one has yet. I don’t think we have to stop Thomas let’s be honest not many people will but I think we’re capable of slowing him down enough to pull out the W not long before we find out either way.

Christian Larkey and the QB are pretty good HS players. The other skill kids for Rock are average at best..Thomas from Bell is/will be the best player on the field without question.

Caleb Moore is better than average HS player he is right there with Christian Larkey and Tucker Warrren. Those are 3 skilled and fast players. No doubt tho Thomas may be the best player on the field this Friday but just being the best player doesn’t always equate to a win. Sloan never got the job done when he was the man at Wayne County Even NFL rb Damien Harris never got the job done at Madison Southern which proves you can be the best player on the field but can still be beat. That’s why we play the game.

I think moore, larkey, powell and jackson are all decent athletes. But it really comes down to one thing. The hardest thing for high school football defenses is to have the athletes to be able to cover a RPO team. Warren is a threat, running throwing or sometimes as just a decoy. He’s the perfect rpo system qb. If you look at the best offenses in the state, it’s most likely RPO. Corbin, boyle, etc. Rock just doesn’t have the athletes like the elite teams that run it do. Relying on outside linebackers to be good enough to tackle the run and cover the quick pass is tough with kids. When a team has the kids on the edge to cover it, and are good enough inside to cover the run with a limited box, RPO teams usually fail. Paris had the athletes, boyle had the athletes when they played corbin. I think bell has the athletes on the edge and the line up front that they will be fine, but not great, against the offense for rock. If bell is getting whipped up front and rock can get a running game going, which they’ve done against everyone except paris, i think rock can win.

Dudley and Team will absolutely beat the brakes off Rockcastle. Won’t be much of a game at Log Mountain. You better plan to stop Thomas cause he’s gonna leave 300 plus yards in your rear view mirror. Rock D-Line cannot contain Bell Offensive Line. Bell got best Offensive line in 13th Region I’m hearing. When Tucker was NL he had great receivers to throw to so don’t pretend he didn’t.. Bell wins this one big 42-12..

Let’s back it up then NL vs Bell 8-20-2021
North Laurel wins 30-22. How was this achieved NL had 237 yards passing with 2 passing TD. In 2021 Tucker had Christian playing with him at NL with his dad coach in Chris Larkey. Same offense coordinator in Tucker dad. Christian had 10 catches for close to 100 yards and a TD. Christian also ran the ball for 45 yards. Tucker had 2 rushing TDs so those two players alone accounted for 3 scores.
Now fast forward to the next year Christian is gone and so is coach Larkey.
NL vs Bell 8-19-22 
Bell wins 43-35. 
Tucker passes for 129 yards and 2 TDs. No WR help as only 8 catches to get those yards. However he rushes for 102 yards his self and 3 more TDs. That’s all five scores in a single TD game loss at log mountain. 
Now before you say oh NL defense in the first meeting where they won they did force Bell to turn the ball over twice via fumbles but did not get much pressure on the qb as they only had 2 sacks all night and 2 tackle for loss. So take the fumbles away an the defense wasn’t nothing special. Now NL defense in last year meeting was even less relevant than when they won the year prior as they had zero forced turnovers against bell and only 1 sack. Yet they only loss by one score. 

Rock has a good chance at beating Bell this year they will just have to go out and play like they are capable. Rock has Tucker and Christian back together along with 2 more good WR and most of the coaching staff that has seen Bell alot. This will not be a blowout on Log Mountain by Bell. Should be a heck of a game that could go either way plus it’s a rivalry so throw records out the window even tho Bell is 6-0 and Rock is 5-1.

Rock will hang around in this one, but Bell will be too much at the end of the night.
