What about their last coach.
He made a few bad calls and he got canned.
No doubt about it, McCoy is the best hire they've ever had BAR NONE.
He's a true football guy and coach. The kids are used to not having to show up,
They simply will not accept discipline. Very short on talent for the next few years.
They had a good running back last season but He beat Betsy Lane single handidly.
It's a real shame Dayne never got the so-called support that their gonna get now and that man stuck it out through some hard times over there. I just think you don't bring back key elements to what was part of the problem, But the guy has to have help.
For goodness sake Dont give Smith the offense. Let him coach d-ends, something he knows.

He didn't get canned, he isn't aloud to coach anymore for a year from what I hear, which isn't much lately. Something about hitting a coach durning a middle school game or something to that extent. Don't quote me though, But he was supposedly suspened for one year from coaching for said inccident.

I agree Riddick, but the last guy made more than a few bad calls. Actually he was a joke as a coach. I was at games where when his players got hurt on the field he would take his time walking to get to them, when the opposing teams coaches and trainers were running to get to them to check them out. The guy was the worst coach I think magoffin has ever had. Yeah he won one game, thats not sayin much though when it was betsy layne they beat and barely done that. Im not in anyway puttin betsy layne down, im just sayin they were as bad off as we were and will be for a long time. As for Smith coming back to help coach, I say thats a mistake also. I remember when he was there with coach brown and all he wanted to do was run the dang ball, even on 3rd and long situations, thats not something u do. Well to me it isnt, it just doesnt make sense. But I guess when u dont have a quarterback that can throw the ball u have to run. They dont have an o line to protect the QB or even block, they all act like they are afraid to take a hit. I hope coach McCoy can turn this team around and make them respectful, but its going to be a hard task. Good luck coach and good luck Hornets, u both will need it.
