I don't see a need to have a new coach in place quickly. Aside from Chuck and Pardue they still have 4 more assistants who have been head coaches and an off-season system already in place. Ideally I think they would like to have his replacement named early in 2021 but no dire need to.

Big time job there

People may know the school name more than Covington Catholic, but Moeller is not a bed of roses right now. They have a current administration and school boosters who have a reputation for being very difficult to work with, and they have a community and alumni who expect state championships out of "Big Moe" at every turn. The GCL South is no joke, and a state championship means having to go through Cincinnati St. X, Elder, and Colerain to even get to the state finals. That's no small task.

Coach Eviston currently has a community that is 100% behind him, and an administration that does every single thing they can to back him on all counts. He came to take a high school head coaching job from a college offensive coordinating job, so I don't know that I think moving into a "big time job" or bigger and better things are necessarily the number one priority for him. But that could just be me.

Moeller doesn’t even have an on campus football stadium. Cov caths facilities are some of the best in the stage and getting better.

Coach Eviston has been welcomed in to the colonel community with open arms. He’s treated like family. I’m pretty sure he truly appreciates that. I know he loves and believes in the school. I’m not saying he won’t leave eventually, I just don’t see the moeller coaching position as a big step forward currently. At least not a transfer coach eviston would be interested in.
