ontopofthewest Wrote:I guess sry... then... I didn't see where u posted urs was a head count avg... I was just re- Aligning with the real numbers... an if we are subtracting fresh an iv scores dont forget to do ours...haha.... for the record would be giving up 15pts an a margin of victory of 32.2.. Confusednicker: ya.. 2a is just weak over there on that side Danville gets a free ticket every year until this year... let's see how they like eating from the same table as desales and cal... then let them come play us while we are rested...Confusednicker:
Maybe if you keep crying and making excuses Danville will give you the trophy since you deserve it more.

well said.
I just broke down the last 7 years film on mayfield and Corbin on the kdhdjeisndbej algorithm. Corbin graded out at 163836% and mayfield graded out at -8%. It’s prediction is that Corbin will win 127-0. I think it’s wrong though. Corbin will win by more than that. I think the final score will be
Corbin 246
Mayfield -27

Can I ride the equipment bus to Austin Peay to watch this beat down?

That’ll be a tight fit. Have you seen the crap they take? It looks like Best Buy is relocating haha
pjdoug Wrote:Confusednicker: complete meltdown by tomorrow night.

Hahah I can’t even keep up with it anymore. They make up so much junk they’ve got me believing it half the time. Hell with all the numbers and computers, they might as well get Bill Gates to be the analyst. It’s funny though. Every other thread about Corbin has been about actual football. Minus the goobers spouting off about recruiting. This feels like my statistics class in college. The 1st time I took it, not the 3rd. When I had NO CLUE. At least there were some hotties in it.
This thread is ridiculous trying to use theories and formulas lmao. Good ole eye test works nine outta ten times in high school ball
This has got to be the most ridiculous thread I've ever read. All the name calling and no football talk is just classless from both sides. This game isnt even a playoff game or a district game. Its literally just 2 really good teams that both fanbases should be excited to watch. It's not often you get the 1 and 2 of 2 tough classes together for one Friday night. This game is going to make both teams better. Both sides should appreciate the fact that they have to chance to see where both teams are at this point of the season. Most teams have to wait til the playoffs to see where they stack up with the best. So lets just enjoy it. Good luck to all the Corbin fans and I hope it's a fun game and safe travels! Go Mayfield!
Yeah it’s almost as bad as the lack of knowledge and crazy statements of some. Like Corbin made a video and T-shirt’s after last years game haha.
36 hours away. We will see just how well all the film study MC and I did, using the IMTU grading system plays out. Either it will be spot on or we will have to hear all that gibrish again.
64, what size shirt do you need?
Just curious, does anyone know if MF uses the IMTU grading system?
Yall cant seriously have this much time on your hands to fill up 17 pages of garbage.
The sight keeps saying last page but it never ends.
blue55 Wrote:The sight keeps saying last page but it never ends.

That was funny.
The real question is what will myson55 have to say if Corbin wins? Let's hear the possible excuses. Surely we can squeeze another 4 or 5 pages out of it.

Agreed, I don’t see this being a 7 point game either way, you guys have an amazing program wish I had the time to come watch it this year just not in the cards for me. Hope both teams have a great injury free game and everyone makes it home safe from both sides of the field, Go Hounds!!

Oh, I believe we can!!

I WANTED THE 500TH POST!!!!

..
Has Mayfield solved its problem with giving up the big play? I know when PT played them, in the first half, MF gave up a 100 yd kickoff return, a 70 yard pass where the receiver did not break stride, and two runs of about 50 yards each. I think the score after that was 28-27.
Well give me #501 then! Gran Bear
Rats! PT Tica beat me to #501!
I have nothing to contribute, but enjoying the thread. My motivation is similar to Granny Bear's but instead of the 500th post, I'm just trying to get my total post count into double digits. That'll up my yearly average to 2.5 posts.
Just to have some pretense (like most posts in this thread) of being football related I'm projecting a score of Mayfield 27 Corbin 21. Sorry for the interruption. Please carry on with previously scheduled programming.

Forward-Looking Statements
Statements contained in this post that state the intentions, plans, hopes, beliefs, anticipations, expectations or predictions of the future of the Mayfield football team and its coaches are considered forward-looking statements. These forward-looking statements include statements of anticipated changes in the sporting environment in which Mayfield operates and in Mayfield’s future operating in particular as it regards the opponent coming onto the field. There is no assurance that the score will be as projected, and it is important to note that actual scores could differ materially from those projected in such forward-looking statements. Forward-looking statements in this post should be evaluated together with other factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those projected in such forward-looking statements, particularly those risks described as injuries, disqualifications, and girlfriend troubles.

Well you never scored after the half with the final being 51-21 so at least against PT we did but not sure moving forward if that will translate into stopping others
MayfieldCardinal Wrote:I ask around about its origins and was surprised at what I learned. Current DC at VA Tech, Bud Foster, a Murray State linebacker from Somerset took a defensive coaching job at Murray State in the late 1980' or early 1990's after he graduated. He as a grad assistant and as a defensive coach at Murray started development of IMTU. He ask former Murray State team mate Tony Franklin, a offensive specialist from Caldwell County to try it out at Calloway County where Franklin was a new head coach. One of the 2 tweaked it for several years until finally fine tuned it. Franklin took a assistant coaching job at Mayfield and introduced it Mayfield. Foster took it to VA Tech

Yes they do, Tony Franklin installed it here when he was an assistant here. Above is the info I could come up with on how it got here

That was funny but it was more funnier that they answered you

I figure he was nice enough to answer so I didn’t wanna be d!ck. But I literally laughed out loud for about 3 minutes when I read it. So for that I do thank him. Everyone needs to bring laughter into the world. And most importantly this thread.
