It's free knowledge.. look on khsaa web site Corbin played the same 29-30 players for 3 games then the lone game where they played around 40 kids.... I'm no rocket scientist but I would suppose that's not fake news...
Edit... I guess it's possible Corbin listed jv in that one game an not the others... mayfield doesn't list theirs..

As I stated mine was a head count average was that why I said like not machine calculated. But the numbers still says mayfield is giving up more and our jv played third quarter of two games and freshman played the fourth quarter of same two games. Starters have given up a combined 24 points if you divide that by four games that would be 6 points allowed so our margin of victory is 27 points also. Also like to add that two of our teams played are defending state champs and that includes the Danville and we all know your history with Danville. I am 100 percent sure of the time played by jv and freshman.
After Friday you may want to hit control alt delete on your program, and go back to football.

Hold us to 15 and score 32 I will be the first to eat crow, your defense gives up more points and our offense is three scores better than last year. So snicker all you want to Friday is just right around the corner, this year you all donât go into hiding and if we win come eat yours. Last year you would have thought mayfield fell off the map other than a few that complained about a play here or there.
I have seen more numbers on this thread than I did in grade school, high school (but I did go to Belfry) and college. I hope they cancel this game so this thread can go on another week because I havenât laughed this much in a long time

Pretty sure they Illegal play in question was worth complaining about... smh hounds won last year I could come up with excuses from we should kicked a field go vs going for it on fourth down... to this or that... hard fought game... end of story.. this year.. our offense is legitimately a lot better..... defence not quite as good but close... like I stated earlier we were giving 19pts up this time last year to 20.2 this yr... as for ur statement about 3 TDs better.... No .. not on paper your not... just comparing ur scores vs same teams from last year.... it will be much of the same fri... we will score 32+ its holding yall to 15 that is the question

Well, I donât think we will hold you to 15, I think itâs possible we score 32, but you absolutely wonât score 40 ( your offense is three scores better than last year) if by score you me a touch down and extra point

And if by chance you score 40, that means high scoring game, we will score 49

Whitley game scored 14 this year 36 at halftime, didnât play Danville played Alcoa but scored 22 last year and 35 this, Pulaski scores 36 this year had 47 at halftime plus had I believe three Called back, Beechwood and I would say they have improved more on defense than anyone has given them credit but last year 29 this year 21 but also had two turnovers in the red zone. So actually even on paper we are three scores better.

I donât know what they listed or didnât. I never really go off khsaa much anymore. Half the time they got the scores wrong. But being there in person I can attest that our JV and even freshman have played against Pulaski and late in the Whitley game. They didnât in beechwood (obviously) or Danville

Not trying to be a smart a$$ about it. Honest question. I do disagree however with you saying Beechwood and Mayfield doesn't help Corbin. I think these teams are two of the best in the state. They would help anybody to get better, win or lose to them. But it is a good question that maybe one of the Corbin faithfuls might can answer.
Id like to see them play a Scott Co or Cov Cath. Haddix has an offensive scheme that a blind donkey can run. The problem is that nobody can stop it.As Lon as he's there, Corbin will be good

Iâll say this, Haddix will play just about any team that he feels will make his team compete and make them get better. The past couple years had Alcoa, Beechwood, Mayfield, Danville, Pulaski and Whitley. All those in the first five weeks of the season three state champs in there respected classes and one runner up, you combine playing a schedule like that along with great coaching you have no choice but to get better. All this jawing back and forth but the mayfield game last year may have been what helped us get to state championship, the Beechwood game last year showed us we wasnât as good as we thought we might be. Pulaski is a type a typical powerhouse who has been to there share of championships, and Whitley is a rival that is always physical. So many variables but since Haddix football is back in Corbin and your going to get to see some good teams play even if you donât think itâs us. Lol
I would like to see Belfry get picked up in the pigskin since they are in a different class next year.

You know I never thought about that. Thatâs a good point with belfry. Haywood isnât one to shy away from playing tough matchups either. Only bad thing is we WILL be down next year. No doubt about it. But Iâd love to do a 2 or 3 year contract with them.

Somebody needs to tell these guys that the game will be won on the field, not on a piece of paper. Those grading systems are great for college where the level of competition is similar. Not so much for the high school game. If youâre playing against someone who gives up 51 points youâre gonna grade pretty high. At the same time, if the starters are pulled at halftime, the âgradesâ are gonna suffer a little. I promise, if you all give up 4 scores to the hounds, youâll have a long ride back to the tire plant.

I ask around about its origins and was surprised at what I learned. Current DC at VA Tech, Bud Foster, a Murray State linebacker from Somerset took a defensive coaching job at Murray State in the late 1980' or early 1990's after he graduated. He as a grad assistant and as a defensive coach at Murray started development of IMTU. He ask former Murray State team mate Tony Franklin, a offensive specialist from Caldwell County to try it out at Calloway County where Franklin was a new head coach. One of the 2 tweaked it for several years until finally fine tuned it. Franklin took a assistant coaching job at Mayfield and introduced it Mayfield. Foster took it to VA Tech
