Saw on twitter Pikeville was 4-0 in pool play today at EKU 7on7 with wins over Ashland, Whitley Co, Breathitt Co and Paris, then lost to Ashland in the championship to take the runner-up spot. Sounds like a good showing!

With this type of performance I fully expect Pikeville to double the amount of points they scored against Paintsville last year 😎

We also played the next weekend and Paintsville didnât. Plus we out rushed and out passed yardage against Raceland than Paintsville and was a few yard short of allowing less the Paintsville. True you all held us scoreless last year but this is another year and we will see. I know Paintsville has a good team but you can bet this isnât going to be the same team they played last year. But good luck to the Tigers hope for an injury free year for them but as always GO PANTHERS

Dude itâs July and I was just messing with jet.
I completely expect the Paintsville/Pikeville game to be a tremendous task for the Tigers. Hopefully it is the first of 2 matches.

I always like following the small mountain schools! Quality football and great games down the stretch. Good luck to the Panthers!

I wasnât trying to be smart I was just discussing the thing you said and I figured you where just poking at Jet. I respect Paintsville and have never said anything derogatory towards them or you either for that matter but I may have come across that way but didnât mean too. No big deal sorry it came out that way but as always GO PANTHERS!!!

I left Pikeville yesterday and went down to Prestonsburg and headed toward Salyersville and noticed what looked like a new town springing up with new buildings and construction everywhere. Where did that come from? lol

All or most of the construction is the Mountain Parkway expansion. Don't know if Salyersville is growing much.

It's nice to see the Salyersville Restaurant Row construction and other growth in the area.

I think Pikeville is the class of the East this year. That being said, not many would argue the top 4 teams in the East are Raceland, Paintsville, Pikeville and Hazard. Both Region championship games and the State Semifinal should be some great football.

Pikeville is my pick to go to Kroger Field.

Went to practice the other day and watched the Panthers and they are ready for the pads ( was getting kind of physical with out them). Midnight practice Tuesday night with pads will be a good night. Less than three weeks and from the first game, canât hardly wait and as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Yes PHSDynasty is right 57 and some new faces. One of the new young men I talked to was a brute could be a big help to our offense and defense fronts. One was about 6ft 4 or 5 could be a big target plus good defense end. Some more new faces but didnât get to talk to many. Talk to One who had to go for a MRI on his knee so he was kind of limited. They really look good but like I said before they where wanting to get at it with no pads. Going to be a great year baring no injuries and keep their focus and as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Yes sir, WOWZA BOLZ!!! I was told 18 seniors as well, and the same guy told me there was no better receiver corps in the state in any class. Can't wait, already making plans to go to the scrimmage on the 10th.irateSho

Couldnât agree more with Jet and I also believe itâs the best receiver bunch. Thatâs not all of it are line is going to be outstanding on both sides of the ball and just talent everywhere. Jesse and Bull are studs along with a linebacker group that is going to be outstanding and of corse our defensive backs most are that receiving bunch.I to are going to the scrimmage game at Lawrence county. And as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Man, i'd love to see that scrimmage with Lawrence , but live too far away now. Nothing happens, will be at the PCB for sure. From what I read on this thread, lots of excitement around Pikeville area for this team. Btw, pjdoug the offer still stands for hot dawg and drink. Maybe a t shirt too.:
