Pulling hard for the rams this week. No one is really giving them a chance but then again no one gave them a chance all year long. If they can make a couple of big plays early and punch in a touchdown there may be some orange and black magic in Lexington. No matter what happens this team has accomplished so much for the school and their community. Go Raceland!

Looks like Raceland has a ton of people pulling for them just not sure they can compete . Thatâs just how we seen this team before the season started so they may as well just finish in the same manor , outmanned , out coached out classed but find s way to pull out a win . To get to a state game takes good teams , good coaching and some luck Raceland has all three .. Rams keep rolling

In a game like this you have to be poised and play mistake free.. Rams gotta come in confident. But I will say this though the team that beat Pikeville this week needs to play like the team that beat Paintsville.
Pikeville had way too many rushing yards this past game. Raceland needs to play this championship game just like itâs the second game against Paintsville. That defense was real good and forced Paintsville to throw..
Raceland needs to work on there snaps too.
Every team is beatable!!!! No one give that 2011 Hazard team a chance after Mayfield destroyed them the year before. I know for a fact that Hazard team was better than that score indicated.
But letâs go Rams!!!

I have'nt seem the play, but man it should be a very flagrant foul, such as a punch to disqualify a kid from the next game. I have no dog in this fight, and will actually be pulling for raceland, but i hate it for that kid. Probably won't effect the outcome of the game, but still. Mayfield had one of its best players suspended last year and not only did it prevent a senior from playing in a semi final, it did effect the game, maybe not the eventual outcome, but definently effected the game, so not only was the player punished but also the team. I'm just not convinced that any penalty should suspend a player for the next game, maybe the rest of the game the penalty occours in, maybe even a quarter of the next game, I dont know, I just really hate this.

Raceland had a player ejected a couple years ago during a game in Ohio , it was a marginal call at best coaches felt good about the appeal but it was denied Iâm really not sure how that process works but it seems like itâs very hard to get one overturned

Iâve never seen or heard of a player but coach mark Dixon was tossed in the Pike County bowl a few years back and coached the next game I think after an appeal

Raceland and Lawrence Co had players that were ejected for essentially taunting each other. Both schools appealed and it was overturned. I believe that was 2014. Thatâs the only time Iâm aware of this happening.

it only took raceland 81 years to get to state game and it will be 81 more before they go again.

I've gotten so used to watching these boys play over the last few months that it is hard to come to terms that tomorrow is it regardless of the outcome. I want to take a moment and thank these boys and coaches for giving us a magical season here in Raceland. At the beginning of the season most people saw this as a rebuilding year and I don't know if anyone realistically thought that this team would be playing in this game. These boys have done something special and they have set the stage for a new standard of Raceland football. To all the players, best of luck and don't listen to anyone who says you can't win this game because this season has been all about proving people wrong so get out there and do just that one more time!
