You keep on saying that we stole your cheers... If we did, name some of them. I guarantee that you cannot. If you are referring to the whole "That was awesome" cheer, then you guys are really stupid. The only reason that we were doing it was to make fun of your ridiculous cheer. Besides, I really don't know how we could rip off your cheers. We couldn't even hear what you were saying. That was the pathetic part!

For your information there has been a woman over JC's spirit club for over the last 6 yrs. So that statement is false. I know because she was over it before i got to hs and it's been 2 yrs since i got out and she's still over it!

Whether or not Central stole the "Showtime" cheer doesn't matter... it was just the other cheers they took and used for the other games after they played us that is the problem...
BTW thank you to Keith Patrick and Chynna Hibbitts for initiating the "Pep Club" idea... they were the masterminds for reinstating the "Pep Club" at Paintsville and deserve some credit... also thank you to the "Ratliff Twins" for instilling the cheers in the students and bringing the spirit back in the school...ÃÂ we couldn't have done it without you two and greatly appreciate the several practices to perfect our cheers... and hopefully next year we will be as "awesome" as we were this year... and I will come back and watch!!! :bow:ÃÂ ÃÂ :thx:ÃÂ ÃÂ :1:

All cheers are fair game. Chants are certainly not original. Someone somewhere has done them before and therefore they are fair game for anyone to say. I am not from Paintsville nor Johnson Central but I have to say that both have awesome Pep sections.

I agree that Paintsville had a good Pep section, but I think that JC's pep section showed a lot of class. All their cheers were directed towards their team. They were not worried about the opponents chants, just getting their team motivated. Guess it worked! :party:

I would love to see a link with the CATS scores if you don't mind I usually don't keep up with the academic side but I think it would be interesting. Oh and BTW Johson County Middle won the academic state championship today. I just wanted to say congrats to them. This just proves even more that we are the best school system in Johnson County.

Can we please stop this insanity! I can't say that I'm happy that the Tigers lost in first round, but a lot of those JC ball players talent. I know I've participated in these stupid threads about PHS and JCHS, but this is so freaking idiotic guys! I mean it's like we can't talk about one school without talking about the other. For those of you that are happy for the Eagles, good for you. But if you don't want to congradulate them, you don't have to. Please. Let's just leave academics and school out of this.

JC Middle School Governors Cup State Champs once again! :1: P-ville Middle tied for 50th with zero points with over 100 other schools.
JCHS overall 6th in the state!!!!ÃÂ :clap

Johnson County School system was I believe 11th in the state, with the middle School tied for 10th. Two grade schools in top 10, Flat Gap 8th and Central Elementary 1st in state.
So are we copying this off you also, or do you think with these academic acheachievements might have a little creativity ourselves.

I think that the CATS scores were needed to be checked. Congrats to the JCMS academic team, that is a great accomplishment. Not sure on the CATS scores but I am sure that there is a huge difference between an academic meet and the CATS test.

I think that the CATS scores were needed to be checked. Congrats to the JCMS academic team, that is a great accomplishment. Not sure on the CATS scores but I am sure that there is a huge difference between an academic meet and the CATS test.
