[QUOTE=sGolden Spirit first of all you need to focus 1 week at a time Bell co. first...Save the mouth until week 10 for Adair co. Im sure the Indians will try to make it a decent game.

It's hard to believe we are mentioning Bell and Casey in the same breath. What has happened to the magic of Log Mountain. I think Bell by 2TD's.

It is the worst prepared staff in decades. I don't know if we have ever had a staff so easy to read. Is it the lack of preparation? I'm noticing there isn't much going on outside of practice on the field. Is it that the leader doesn't care about wins as we are use to for decades? Either way the team can be read like a book. The offense has turned elementary. I've seen more complicated schemes in middle school and beneath. We may beat Jackson but other than that I don't see any sure wins. I expect county leadership doesn't care or we wouldn't be in this record breaking season as one of the worst in decades even in an election year.

I agree 100%. Still some very talented, hard working and good kids on Log Mountain. The problem is the leadership. Coaches that couldn't do Jr. League and Administration that shouldn't be leading a horse around, let alone a School and School System.

Luckily the other district is horrible so they may have a chance to win a playoff game or two.

You may come down and beat Casey but I can tell you one thing this is not the Casey teams of old. They have some play makers and a good QB in Hayes and a speedster in Miller. The line is big and strong and experienced. And if I read it correctly they are the #1 team in the state in passing. So go ahead and bet against Casey but do not be surprised if the Bobcats leave Liberty with there tails tucked between there legs! But surely not! :dontthink

The Bobcats will dominate that big and strong line.:HitWall:

so you think complicated schemes is what makes a team win?:dudecomeon:

Yeah, I was confused by this coming from someone on Log Mountain. Dudley wasn't/isn't complex. Bell has made their impact not in complexity, but in strength and execution.

Complexity is fine if you want it, but you ain't got the dogs, then it doesn't matter what you're doing.

Comparing what they did in the past is like comparing Nuclear Engineering to making a PBJ sandwich, not even a good PBJ. They are not taking the time to teach the basics, make sure you have even spread of PB on both slices and jelly. Not even close to what they did in the past.

Very little fundamental work. 1 formation and only about 4 plays and they don't execute them real well. They depend on Collett to brake tackles to get positive yards. Luckily he is a very good RB. Far cry from days gone by. Just because you knew what they were doing in the past, didn't mean you could stop it.

I think a little more complicated than grade school ball is essential these days which is what we've gone back to. A little more planning and dedication from the current staff would be a plus being that dedication has always been seen on Log Mountain by all prior staffs and today it's put my time in, go home, cash my check. When you've been watching the same style for decades and it works anything else is a crock.

simple is always best. fundamentally sound is where it's at.

well said. simple and repetitively executed to perfection is tough to stop.

Bell has dropped like a lead ball in the middle of a lake but they have not sunk that far yet. Bell wins.

Who is the better team this year? I think Casey but that doesn't mean they will win. Casey has to get over the Bell Co name. Casey will spread Bell out and Bell will try to run over Casey. My opinion, if Bell gets up 2 scores they win. If Bell lets Casey jump on them then I don't think Bell can catch them. Thinking about going to this one. Casey wins.
