Win the 15th. LOL!!! that best one I heard in sometime. It will take the AD and new coach sometime to build a contender, if they ever can. Mr. Williams did an excellent job turning them around and getting them in region this year. They played well down stretch something like 11 and 2.

well I'll remember when next year rolls around to refresh your memory when they are playing for 15th region championship.

Not going to happen!

IF or When Justice is hired at Pikeville:
Justice is NOT ready for this at all! Great guy who rides what HE did as a player not what he has done as a coach along with help from a former coach. 20-10 at JBS and 10 of the wins were against teams with a sub 500 record. Plus JBS had TWO bigs and a guard that were pretty good. Will not have that size at Pikeville.

Actual if you must know no one has talked to him about the job yet but I hope he gets it.
#38
Jason and or Elisha will bring in troops...

Hope so too, so everyone sees what a mistake it was to hire him. He is NOT ready for that job YET, maybe in a few more years or as an assistant to Booher.

They will have to bring in troops if they are going to the region championship next year.

Coach Williams son had surgery at Children's Hospital in Cincinnat today. Did well, will,be in hospital at least 5 days....sure prayers would be appreciated..
#41
Prayers that everything is alright. Now, I wonder why Elisha was not first choice. Hearing another Pike County school is after him. The rumor of the Rowes going to Pike Central can officially be put to rest, never was even considered according to my source from PCC.

Anyone know why Jason B. Left Covington Holmes????
#43
Read this news article. It explains it all.

#44
Thanks for info..... Just seemed so odd, just goes to show you rumors are most of the time just that....
#45
He will be Superintendent of Pikeville Schools. Live the dream!!!
#46
Why do so many people at Valley dislike Booher?
#47

The superintendent expected more on the academic side. Let's not forget he was also assistant principal for Holmes.
#48
And that is all???

Some good news for Coach Williams and his family. After surgery and 6 days in the Cincinnati hospital it is my understanding they are on their way back.... All are doing well!!! Guess Coach has had more to worry about than ball... Let's continue to pray...

Who from SV dislikes him? Just quit getting people to talk to players to transfer.
#52
Pikeville has let Booher take over , I guess they know what they are doing .
#53
Are they players leaving for Pikeville?
#54
Was told the KHSAA website lists open coaching jobs throughout the state and that both Pikeville boys and girls jobs mention possible teaching jobs available. Apparently the postings were made by the AD. Not sure where to look on the website to confirm. District and school administration saying no new teaching positions have been approved. Begs the question, who is calling the shots at Pikeville Independent?
#55
Chief speak with fork-ed tongue, he know not where he sh$t last.:gtfo:
#56
I thought the principle hired the coach not the AD . If Booher is hiring the coach he was given that power.

IV. Action/Discussion Items

A. Tentative 2016-2017 SBDM Allocations

Superintendent Green presented the tentative 2016-2017 SBDM allocations for both schools. Mr. Green noted that despite a slight decrease in total enrollment the staffing allocation would remain the same. He also stated that the funding allocation would be at $152 per student rather than the minimum state required amount of $100 per student.

Order #1370 - Motion Passed: Approve Tentative 2016-2017 SBDM Allocations passed unanimously with a motion by Mr. Forrest Beeler and a second by Ms. Ann Carty.

Pikeville has turned into SV North. Booher is running the show and three years from now, they will be sorry. But hey, Thomas and Green will be retired, sitting a beach somewhere counting their money, so what do they care. Sad when East Ridge and Randy McCoy is the most stable team/school in the District. Didn't get to see a game last year but know Williams turned a very average team into the #1 seed. Pikeville about to get what they deserve. They will regret this decision for years to come, oh wait, they won't bc Thomas and Green will be rubbing baby oil on each other's backs in the Bahamas.
