Paintsville's Pugh or Slone

I would take Landon over anybody on the Tigers team. He is a fine young man who never loses his cool on the court and can always come thru when the game is on the line.Pugh is a better football player than basketball player.J.D. is a super player, but he looks to pass and not to shoot.The Grim kid is very streaky and Bundy tends to get to out of control when the game gets close.When you put all these different types of players together this is a awesome team with a bunch of talent that can win by 30 pts. or lose by 30pts. I think they are playing the best ball in the 57th right now and maybe the best in the 15th.I just wish my Cards would play with the same fire and emotion as your guys do! Good luck in the districts and Regionals.The Cards got a long hard road ahead and just to be honest I think our season is getting ready to come to a quick end!! GO LANDON GO !!!!!! :Cheerlead

The real question here is why is everyone compared to Landon... Dang could you imagine being a soph.. in high school and everyone be compared to you... Hang in there Landon and keep your head up son your a tremndous athelete bud. and a heck of a kid.. just continue playing hard but most of all don't let all this garbage on here get to you.. Just look at it as a motivation to make you be a better player but most of all a better person.

These threads are getting crazy. Everyone compares every other player in the region to Landon Slone. Why do you think everyone gets compared to Slone? It is because he is one of the best. Slone is the straw that stirs the Tigers drink. Bottom Line. Paintsville can win games in Pugh scores in single digits, but they won't beat their JV team if Slone is in single digits. The Tigers are a great team and they have 4 players that are capable of going off any given night. (Slone, Vanhoose, Grim, and Pugh) Slone is the better of the two players now, and he has more years to develop and build thge team around. Slone is my choice no questions asked.
