We are getting turf and new weight room, our kids work harder than any team in the state in the weight room. This group has won state titles from middle school through h.s. this group fears no one I would be shocked if anyone stops them from there third straight state final.

I have no doubt that PC will again have another great season, but to have Highlands and Cov Catholic in the same region and same path to get back to WKU. No way man, Highlands is a different BEAST than your normal 5A teams in the past and to add Cov Cath... brother that is stretching it. And what program do you know that does not WORK HARD in the weight room? I'm sure everybody is. Well you can guarantee it, but eggs might fly back at your face. My opinion only....

Counting out Highlands is a mistake since they have 23 times as many rings as you. Counting out BG is a mistake since they have 4 rings and are 2-0 vs Pulaski the last 2 years. I'd hate to see you guys get beat on overconfidence instead of giving your best effort out there.

I just don't think he really understands how down 5a was compared to usual. I remember when Bowling Green was beating great out of state teams, but Jon Hardin, and Warren Central would still give Bowling Green a heck of a fight. Last year Bowling Green was not quite as good as last couple of years but still good. Besides them i don't think anyone else in 5a could have did what they did with that tough schedule. 1 bad game against a not very good graves kept them home, and now has maroon state champs thinking no one can beat Pulaski. I just don't see them beating southwestern, Highlands, and Bowling green in a row. He needs to ask a Johnson Central fan about Highlands or should i say Covington Catholic who always beats JC then loses to highlands.

I doubt you will hear much out of him when Pulaski fails to repeat. Even if they do you wont hear much out of him for the next dozen years when they go back to being average. My guess is he is a freshman waterboy.

I'm going to do you a favor in time for you to get word to Riley or maybe coach Hines. Riley throws a lot of screens and does a nice job on sprint out passes. He is not a pocket passer, doesn't read progressions, and that makes him easier to defend. If they didn't play on the end of the state with such simplified pass defenses maybe he would have been forced to get better by now I don't know. Highlands knows how to defend the pass, Cov Cath knows how to defend the pass, Larry French played Catholic for years against much better qb's than Riley Hall and whomever comes out of the west will have defended some passes this year, (BG,Owensboro, Christian Co) If you want to repeat work on some of your weaknesses.

5A is loaded but Pulaski is one of the teams with a legitimate shot to win it. Give the devil his due they are returning 18 starters on the defending state champs. You should never overlook Highlands but the Maroons will show up ready to play.

Maroon state Champ might be a little overboard, but I can tell you this Pulaski County is the real deal, they return almost everyone and Highlands and the other northern teams are very good as well but I do think it will be one heck of a game if it happens.

I make it a rule not to answer garbage like this when I'm mad. That's why I've waited for a couple of days.

The last thing I want to do is make bragging claims that are unrealistic and just plain stupid.

So let me say this. Harlan County will have a rebuilding period for the next year or so. That's not to say that they won't be able to compete. That is yet to be seen. Every school will have strong years and weaker years as the talent ebbs and flows. If you are right and the work ethic makes a difference, then HC will be #1 this year. I've never seen a group of kids work any harder in my life.

As far as your wish is concerned that we win 3 games this year, I believe that will come true. I do resent your arrogant and negative attitude toward these kids. After all is said and done, when you remove the uniform that are all just kids.

So good luck to Pulaski County this year. What I have seen and heard, I do believe you guys will be very strong and competitive. If you don't have anything positive to say about Harlan County, then do us all a favor and don't say a damn thing.
