Its gonna be interesting to say the least. I always thought norths best teams was gonna be next year and the year after. I hope this dont make some younger kids choose other sports or transfer. Rice started at bell, transferred to corbin and now to north. Collier started at south years ago, then to north as 8th grader, then to southwestern for freshman and soph year, then to jackson for jr year and now to north for sr year. So there is some problems with staying put.

Outside looking in seems that Brad is pretty good at getting his kids exposer for the next level. I can see how that is attractive to kids and parents. But with collier I don't know. He is a rolling stone. But a heck of a player.

Noone yet but a lot of his young guys are getting looks and offers from some pretty good schools. So from the outside looking in Brad must be doing something.

I am all about kids but this kid has transferred time after time just for basketball. I do not understand how kids that do this get eligible so easily.

Brad sizemore is the real deal, I'd take him over any coach in the 13th.

Let's not get carried away. Solid coach, yes; best in region, no.

Coach P at Corbin and Coach Morris at Bell are the topsin the 13th region. Yes better than Brad.. It's hard for me to say Coach Morris, but his record speaks for itself

Roscoe can out recruit most coaches and that's the reason North has had SOME success..

It would really be bad to have a kid bust his tail all through middle school AAU etc. Then have a kid transfer in an take all of the playing time. I have heard from some NL parents they are fed up with all the trophy hunting and wont win the region anyway.

Any word yet? Season is getting closer.

jackson co has signed off on collier just waitin on khsaa to sign off. khsaa expected to sign off today. Is North the regional favorite now? They are loaded.
01-23-2015, 03:34 PM
They are loaded but selfish.......you only play with 1 ball not 5 or 6......I really don't see how Collier is going to help them as a team....because this entire year North has not been a team....but talent wise they should be really really good....but 6 or 7 indivivual players can't beat a team of 5.
01-23-2015, 03:51 PM
North is def the district fav now. playing at home. I think they get it done.
01-23-2015, 05:35 PM
From the way they've played thus far, I'm not sure if Collier will be a help or not. He actually could hurt the team, because North already has the worst team chemistry problems I've seen in a long time. Collier being added with 2/3rds of the season already over might tip the boat over. I don't know if the chemistry issue stems from Sizemore, Broughton, or who, but they don't play like a team. Talented? Extremely! But unless a lot of things change, they won't go deep come tournament time.
01-23-2015, 06:12 PM
I agree totally but something about tourny time can change alot. totally diff atmosphere. We will just have to wait and see but I would not want to play them at north in a district semi for sure.
01-23-2015, 06:25 PM
North may be lucky to even make it to the region because all 3 teams have proven they can beat them.
01-23-2015, 06:57 PM
Roscoe and I have the plan to get us back to RUPP. I have been working on this all season and presented it to Roscoe last week. I think he likes it. The plan ready to be put into action as soon as KHSAA gives the boys the ok.

North must beat OBI by 4 and they will get the 3 and avoid Clay on the semis. If this happens I think both teams will be relieved.
01-23-2015, 09:49 PM
IMO, clay wont make it to region if north gets the 4 seed. North beats clay at home with collier in district. Probably wont happen cause north will be the 2 or 3 seed most likely.

A 6-10 team the favorite , you have lost your mind. They haven't proven anything yet. Matter of fact they haven't proven they can beat anybody in this district.
01-23-2015, 10:44 PM
one layup away from beating clay at clay without collier. I am calling it now if north gets the 4 seed north beats clay at home in semis. I dont know how one layup away from beating clay at home is loosing my mind but time will tell. If clay wants to play in the region they better hope north dont get the 4 seed is all I am saying.
01-23-2015, 11:05 PM
Stranger things have happened, but if North is good enough to beat Clay then they should be able to beat Oneida Baptist and probably avoid the fourth seed.
01-23-2015, 11:06 PM
All I've heard all year is how great North can be. Well the potential hasn't panned out. No team chemistry, no team ball, you can look like studs all day but if you play like duds them it doesn't get you anywhere. Each player must be wiling to sacrifice for the betterment of the team and this isn't happening at North.
01-23-2015, 11:21 PM
north has dad a rough year. I just think north beats clay in that situation. Do I think north will win region. no. They wont be able to not fall back into the old north habits over a 4 game span but I do think they beat clay in that situation.
01-23-2015, 11:25 PM
If north gets the 4 seed north wins district. clay goes home. If north gets 2 or 3 seed clay wins district. I think north plays free with nothing to loose if they play clay in semis. just my thinking. been wrong many times. lol
01-23-2015, 11:28 PM
I told a man the other day, I said even if north does beat Clay in the district finals. They aren't good enough to win out to get to region finals to play them again. I agree that they will go back to it being broughton shooting 30 a game. But i almost believe in order for them to win he has to. Those 2 bigs are way over hyped IMO.
01-23-2015, 11:35 PM
I like Collier he is a good player. But who is gonna get benched for him to play.
01-24-2015, 12:18 AM
I know nothing about BB having said that I have A feeling that there is something wrong at NL that can't be fixed with ball players.
01-24-2015, 06:48 PM
I predict Broughton will be playing by Nov 7th! Why? Cause South Rolls into North's jungle on that date! And that's the bottom line! Cause Stone Cold said so!
